   Food and service amazing as always... Me and my friend went for a catch up and food ..both had the gluten free chicken tempura which was delicious and sides of loaded fries ...the cheese and bacon loaded fries are the best .. Service was good and everyone friendly and helpful as per usual.. Love this place !

   First visit and most certainly will be back. Loved the quirky decor. Food was so tasty and the cocktails were to die for. Lovely chilled happy friendly staff. Only went for lunch and still there 4hrs later enjoying the cocktails and ambiance. Highly recommend

   Brilliant place with great food & outstanding live entertainment. However, the service let it down. We were waiting more than 10minutes before anybody came to see if we wanted to order drinks. Then we were left another 10minutes before they arrived. The waitress didn't even take our food orders at this time, we had to wait further to order food. The service was very slow and a bit of a let down considering there were 6 members of staff standing around talking to one another.

    Great staff very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was excellent well worth the 1 hour drive. I would recommend for a visit.

    We had a very nice Sunday afternoon sampling the menu. All good to great. The service was brilliant. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Recommend to anyone.

    Great atmosphere for the rugby, staff very accommodating with table to allow us to sit where we could both watch the game on the screen. Food and drinks service very good. Food was delicious.

    Fabulous visit . Service was brilliant, two servers (one blonde, one red- sorry we didn’t get your names) just made it a little extra special. Food was just what we needed and the wine was perfect. As the rugby was on, it was so busy but that didn’t detract from the service. Piper visiting for the start of the rugby was brilliant.

    Went with my partner for lunch and we couldn’t fault the place. Beautiful interior, outstanding food and service . Cocktail list is also amazing with loads of choice. Will be back very soon.

    We had a lovely evening in the smoking goat with food and cocktails for my boyfriends birthday. They were so accommodating for all our various allergies and they had gluten-free and vegan options. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable night. I would highly recommend the smoking goat for a night out with friends.

    Came to smoking goat for the first time to celebrate 3 birthdays. The food was great and the cocktails were so tasty. Would definitely return and recommend. Staff were very attentive. Enjoyed the shot wheel. Great atmosphere

    Honestly not the best this time round. Quick bite before the cinema that ended up being a bit stressful. Took a while to take our order for drinks and food , asked if we would make the film at 8 and the server said yes theres plenty time but our food wasnt served until 5 minutes after our showing time. Still one of our favourite places in Ayr so won’t stop us returning , the place was very busy and the staff work hard. Keep your heads up and relax in January.

    Absolutely loved it but just waited a long time on some drinks and one never came after we had asked about it twice so we then had to ask at the bar and the plates stayed at the table for an hour after we had finished eating, but apart from that a good experience and perhaps under staffed which is totally understandable, I would quite happily return but would put some people off

    Excellent food and looks tasty on the plate. Nice bar staff and waitresses. Excellent quiz and quizmaster on a Tuesday night. Ambient place with nice wee nooks for people to relax in.

    Amazing cocktails, so delicious. It's a great venue, cosy with lovely alcoves. Only downside is an hour & a half isn't long enough & we did get reminded an hour in that we only had another 30mins, then again at 15mins. Was like z countdown. So our 2nd cocktail did feel rushed & they are so tasty you reallywant to take your time. Maybe next time I will book 2 consecutive tables.
