The Smokehouse Restaurant is here by the toughness and resourcefulness of our forefathers in the taming of the Wild West! A place where good guys had no choice but to prevail against injustice, bad guys and where redemption and renewal was the only honourable way forward! We salute our Western hero's and some of the recipes they've passed on down the line to us. We try to use only the freshest, local ingredients we can and everything here is made from scratch . It's ain't fancy....but it's darn good ! We're happy to make your acquaintance and really look forward to sharing some of our goodness with you .... Enjoy!!

The atmosphere of the Smokehouse was really nice, but that’s about where it stopped. The eggs Benedict I had was served on extremely salty biscuits and it was a challenge to get service from our server.

I won’t go back unless they fix some things. The brisket was lovely and their beers are impressive, but everything else was “not quite there”. The decor is going for seasoned & rustic, but the arm of my brothers chair broke off in his hand and our table leaves wouldn’t stay together. Our server was either new or quite overwhelmed (she forgot us several times & mistook pork ribs for beef: not a big deal for us, they were still good, but it could be a significant error for some faiths). Two people’s meals came 15 minutes after everybody else’s. My coleslaw was overly spicy and lukewarm (not intentionally so, it just sat under the heat lamp too long). My beans were not quite cooked and tasted like they were in a mildly seasoned ketchup sauce. Ironically, the Smoked Boards were the worst part of the meals. I really want to like this place! The menu looks good and I love the atmosphere, but IMHO: There were just too many things that said they’re not quite ready yet.

Food was great but took a lot longer than I expected to get to eat it considering fixed menu and with 4 kids 2 of which got their food last.

Best cornbread and smoked meat in the city. Brisket is super tender and not over smoked.

Everything was great! Amazing value and the food was very good. 10 of us had brunch and everything was so yummy, large portions. Great kids menu and atmosphere as well. We would go again for sure!

Had an amazing family dinner for 8 tonight. The Smokehouse at Symons Valley is a Gem. Fantastic food and great service.

Nice atmosphere with a rustic country feel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our smokeboard took awhile to arrive but it was a busy night. The complimentary homemade corn bread held us over in the meantime. Will definitely go there again!
