Sadly closed due to fire. No info on website. Booked a tabke to be in the waiting list, expecting a text for when to arruve. No contact , so decided to take the 16 minute walk to see if we could do a walk in or get takeaway. V dissapointed it was shut. Had a long walk to cherry Hinton road to a traditional chippy next to Rock pub. VERY good haddock n chips there, with really crisp light batter. Hopefully we get to try sea tree another time. Just good we decided to walk to check, or everything would've been shut and we'd have still been waiting hungry in our hotel. Nice vibrant street where Sea Tree is. Lots of out door seating and restaurants/ cafes. The Rock pub also looked nice, with outdoor dining area, and we saw served nice looking fish n chips, much cheaper than the takeaway next door.

The Sea Tree is an unpretentious restaurant that doubles as a fish and chip shop. Simple tables and benches. The menu is quite short with a few daily specials added. Good value wine list - nothing over £15 a bottle, but good quality. I had scallops with rocket & Parmesan salad, crusty bread and a side of chips. Others had the fish stew. Both were very good, well cooked and very tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Unfussy, value for money. Recommended.

As always this is a lovely place for a good quality fish supper. All the usual fish and chip menu plus things like fish pie, seafood stew, seafood linguine etc

Friendly charming staff, amazing food, and lovely service. The only downside was that it was a little bit draughty, but it was a very cold evening! Food was hot, served on warm plates so did not cause a problem.
