Great drinks, appetizers, main courses and dessert.
Excellent food and service as always. One of our favorite places in the Bay Area. Highly recommended!
The food was great and the service is very nice too!
Excellent contemporary cuisine, the word to describe is extraordinary, everything that our waitress suggested from appetizer to the dessert implying delicious, excellent service wait staff are outstanding, we had a very wonderful evening, bravo.
I don’t often have the opportunity for quality seafood. Going to The Sea was a treat. The hamachi shots and the miso cod were fantastic. The service was excellent and the dishes appetizing to both the eye and the palate.
Excellent food and service. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
we had a fantastic time. outside seating very comfortable. The softshell crab special was super delicious. we would go again
Food was fantastic, staff was super helpful, clean and covid safe. They spoiled my wife for her birthday. We will be going back soon.
I was expecting much more for the price and other reviews. Service was average at best. Started with crab popcorn and sent it back could have gotten this dish at Long John Silver. The octopus was much better and fish special and pallea were very nice but presentation was lacking. It’s an older 80’s style building that need to be remodeled. I think Dio Dekka in LG is waaayy better for the price
Exceptional experience! William is the man and you should request him by name. The food was amazing from start to finish!
We were on the patio, so don't know how it would be indoor. The service is excellent, attentive but not overbearing. The tasting menu is a "good value" to try different things and they were all beautifully presented. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they offered us complimentary champagne and an extra dessert! How thoughtful!
A bit pricey, so it's not going to be my "everyday restaurant" but definitely high on my list for celebrations.
The food was delicious! We went there to celebrate the graduation of our High School twins. Our server was super attentive and very good at describing and recommending appetizers and courses. The only drawback was the price $$$$
Fantastic service as always. Steak was slightly undercooked but readily remedied.
As always a great dining experience.
We came to the Sea to celebrate my Godson’s birthday. He drove up from 29 palms to see us for the weekend. He turned 23. He is active duty marines. He enjoyed everything.
Exquisite dining, exceptional service. Food was so delicious it made me want to cry in happiness. Bursting with flavor and presented with pride. Love love love The
Great place to celebrate special occasions. Service is great in the beginning and peters out at the end. Cups and dishes lingered and it took awhile to get our check. Patio was quite loud. Dishes are always excellent. Steak here is amazing but I always go for cod or other fish.
Excellent food, attentive service. Due to covid restrictions we suspect service and ambience are still coming back to 100%. Great place for a special occasion.
Amazing experience. Great food and Chef's complimentary items were awesome.
Lovely place. Food was OK for the price but service was great and pleasant
Great food and fantastic service!
It was for a birthday. And they where all amazing . The staff and food were just wonderful
Wonderful experience with Chef’s selection with the freshest ingredients and impeccable presentation. We had a great time and will come back soon
We went for our anniversary and it was awesome! We sat inside and all tables were very spread out. It was quiet and beautiful. They greeted us with an anniversary card and a glass of champagne each! We tried everything from appetizers, clam chowder, dinner and dessert. Everything we ate was fantastic! The clam chowder was spectacular!! This was our first time dining there and we will definitely go back! Great place, great food and all the staff was spot on. Thanks for a wonderful evening
Wonderful 3 course prix fixe with a large number of dishes to taste. We had octopus and a tuna tartare. Mains were excellent as well.
We were here for Mother’s Day Brunch. Everyone loved the three-course meal. Portions were generous, presentation was excellent, and service was great.
My son has severe nut allergies and mild allergy to dairy products. The staff walked him though the menu so he was aware of what was safe to eat and what to avoid.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we look forward to our next visit.
Food and service was ok! The water glasses were not clean, 2 out of 4 glasses on our table had lip and finger stains...
We had the tasting menu and felt like a few dishes were either too sour, sweet or salty for my taste. But they always provide 5-star service!
As we are celebrating Mother’s Day dinner which I noted in my reservation, we got a greeting from our wonderful server but when we ordered dessert, they did not write Happy Mother’s Day on the matcha bombe plate which was disappointing.
It was a soulless dining experience to be frank. Nothing ordinary, nothing terrible -- my Miso Cod dish did have quite a bit of lobster shells in it. Just nothing to write home about.
We got really sick after eating there. The lobster was not very flavorful, and I didn’t think the ambiance of food was with the price.
Food was okay. Alexander’s Steakhouse is way better in terms of food.
A special place to splurge for a special occasion.
In this case it was my youngest son's impending high school graduation. It is expensive, but the plating, ambiance, quality ingredients and special unexpected touches ( amuse bouche may have been our favorite bite of the meal and no split plate fee, even though each plate requires a complete reworking of accoutrements and sauces and garnishes) . The impeccable service manages to be comfortable rather than fussy, a delicate balance, rarely achieved. This is fine dining that is fun and absolutely delicious. No crazy combinations of ingredients and the freshest highest quality food!
