    We have been to The Sea by Alexander’s many times, including a birthday celebration I hosted there. This latest experience was a definite step backward - an issue with freshness of a fish, a high end wine by the glass which was a bit off, and service which was ok but not the same standard they set in previous visits. We will give them a rest before going back again…

    My favorite place for dinner and steak. Service is always wonderful. Dungeness crab appetizer was great and perfect to share between two. I highly recommend the salmon.

    I thought the food and service was exceptional. The only thing that was a disappointment was the length time we received our main entree. The table next to us arrived and ordered after us receive their food before us which was a disappointment. Despite asking for an update the food, it was delivered too long.

    My entree (and my dinner companions as well) was very good but nothing amazing, and it should be amazing for the prices they charge. Very odd menu. No salads or other simple starters, and the prices are beyond just expensive and in a different universe that doesn't seem warranted given the food, which is very good but not exceptional.

    As always...consistently good food (not cheap). The recent change of not allowing children under the age of 7 is a welcoming one. Our most recent visit was a wonderful experience.
