Beautiful location with a very classic vibe. Everything we ate was delicious (vegan lentil curry, salmon, mussels, pesto bruchetta, mushroom bread, cheesecake, chocolate cake and tiramisu). All excellent.
The cocktails were also delicious and presented nicely.
The staff was amazing. So friendly, fun to talk to and even gave up the last piece of tiramisu for us! Such a wonderful experience, definitely recommend Savoy!
Service was good, albeit a bit slow. We all enjoyed our food, but it wasn’t outstanding. The atmosphere was nice and quiet too. Definitely a bit outside of town, but that is not a bad thing
Great little place. Tasty food with a charming atmosphere.
Great service from Marc. Outstanding food we’ll done!
everything tasted great, especially the dauphinoise potatoes Benedict. Service was quick and pleasant. Side salad on dish was limp and noticeable. Environment took you away for a moment to memories of a Paris bistro. 80s music was nice.
A rediscovered gem in Westboro. Service was slow at times but other than that was a pretty perfect evening
Really nice service.
Great service, tasty and fresh brunch. Great place
My friend and I had excellent service. Genevieve behind the bar was always attentive, polite and took a real interest in our dining experience. We were served promptly; servers were polite and friendly. The food was also good! What most impressed me was how attentive the staff were and concerned that we were enjoying our meal and dining experienc.e
Lunch for 6 on a rainy Saturday. Service was nice but they all seemed to take break at once which left us waiting for water, coffee refills. The biggest issue was the flies and overall cleanliness. The ladies washroom had overflowing trash, stuff on the floor and the whole restaurant was overrun by flies. Don’t think it was a isolated situation as the server station had lids on the vinegar noting that lids has to stay on to keep flies off.
If you want great food in a wonderful atmosphere this is your place. I certainly recommend this around Christmas, it’s what Christmas dreams are made of
Tout était excellent: les viandes, poissons et mollusques frais et cuits à merveille et le
service de Marc était hors pair.
J'y retournerais sans hésiter.
I love the decor at The Savoy and the noise level while high, was not intrusive, just lively at lunchtime on a holiday. We both had salmon burgers and the fish was PERFECTLY cooked, juicy and delicate as salmon so often isn't in restaurants. Kudos for that but...the bun was a completely ordinary hamburger bun and the accompaniments of iceberg lettuce, a round or two of red onion and a slice of pale yellowish winter tasting tomato? C'mon guys, for $18 I expect better than that. Fries were good but portion was small. Would I return? Not sure.
Great night with my good pal. Will definitely return
Excellence service, great ambiance and tasty food. What else do you need...
Great place for dinner during weekday. Cinq a sept menu offers a great selection of various dishes. Highly recommend this place.
The Brunch was fantastic . The mood of the place was busy and upbeat. Our server was excellent and even asked if i wanted to put my cake and food parcel i had been carrying in the fridge.
Great Euro bistro menu and atmosphere Service was super. Our dessert was not as expected and the issue was addressed very promptly.
Too much bees, flies inside the restaurant.
Service was slow
I ordered the avocado toast and it was tasteless.
Great food !! I brought my husband to The Savoy on date night and he loves it as well. I had the lamb shank and he had the seafood pasta. The lamb shank was exceptionally tender and flavourful. The seafood pasta had a delicious white wine sauce.
Savoy has become our new spot :)
Food average for price. Wine menu limited. Would only go back for drinks ans appetizers
Food was great as always, but the friendly and attentive service made it outstanding.
It's like fancy dîner food. I love the vibe and I always have a good, laid-back experience here!
The server smelt of cigarettes - the food was pretty bland and overpriced - the only good part is, the place was empty so we did have a time limit -
Food was good, but not amazing. Waited an hour to be served breakfast. But great atmosphere and friendly enough staff
We had a great evening overall. The food was excellent, the service was very good, but the kitchen was a bit slow with over an hour to get our meal to us. However, we understand the current shortages in staff… 😊
Under staffed and while staff friendly coffee slow and food not hot.
Our server was the best part of the evening. He did his best but overall was disappointed with the evening. The kitchen was very very slow, and food was good but nothing special. The place looks great. Unfortunate that they don’t embrace a true brasserie spirit.
Loved the food
Had a good meal, service was equal
Would visit again
Wanted a restaurant where we could catch up with old friends and not be bothered continually. Had a great opportunity to talk without feeling we had to rush out to free the table. Waitress and manager were very helpful. Only downside was that we had to wait a little long for our 4 meals. But they were very good. Recommend this restaurant.
I used to like this restaurant for Sunday brunch but with each passing month, it gets worse and worse. The food was not very fresh. The small salad was completely wilted (should never have been served), the potatoes were extremely salty, so much so that we all left them in our plates (we were 3) - you just could not eat them. The eggs benedicts were passable.
As for the server, she didn't look clean and seemed as so though she didn't care much to be there.
Unfortunately, I will no longer go to this restaurant.
raining out, chilly with the fans all going. seemed like a longer lag for appetizers than I'm used to followed by mains quite quickly afterward.
Cheese and artichoke dip was bland, could have used some seasoning. Main dishes took over an hour to come. Nicoise salad was missing the tuna (remedied when I pointed it out) and had only 2 cherry tomatoes and 4 green beans, despite them being in season. Dressing was bland. Beer was good. Sweet potato fries were good. Savoy burger was ok, but not amazing. Server was pleasant, but we were not really seriously asked how our food was.
Food was cold, nobody came to check on our meal whilst we were eating and there was no toilet paper or hand towel in the women’s washroom.
Food was not fresh. Salad was stale. Service was okay.
Hi Great location in Westboro with patio seating for people watching! Lots of great indoor seating with an open air concept as well.
Service was slow, but Covid has moved the benchmark unfortunately so, not a big problem.
Need a better wine selection, as it’s all Ontario based.
