Savoy excelled in every aspect, offering my fiancé and me a truly memorable dining experience. The apple salad was a refreshing start, bursting with fresh flavors. The ribeye and Diane steak stood out with their perfect preparation and robust flavors. The oysters, a delightful indulgence, were fresh and expertly presented. The apple tart was a sweet finale that left us wanting more. Coupled with impeccable service and a warm, inviting ambience, Savoy made our evening exceptional. Highly recommended for a top-tier culinary experience!

Very expensive. That’s OK if you deliver the goods. They don’t hear. Instead Steak Diane is no such thing. Even the waitress called it filet. Sauce needs mushrooms, onions, and garlic chunks. Ruby trout delish. Think we got last of duck fat fries. Or potato chunks. Apple tart with Irish coffees nice end to evening. Follow on morning breakfast ‘Buffett’ = joke. No eggs. Had to tell person coffee empty, OJ empty, no napkins. And no bar open in dark place for champagne for mimosas or vodka OJ. Took 25 minutes to get eggs. Finally. Already ate rest of breakfast. All in all, spent a b-load and disappointing end result. As you walk around the ‘museum’ and gift shop it becomes clear this place is centered on activism. Not delivering top end hotel experience or food.

The bar program and service are always impeccable. Very sad that Alexandra and Rachelle are no long working there. New staff / mgmt never remember us even though we’ve been regulars for years but wouldn’t keep us from coming back and enjoying the food / service / drinks / hotel. Our favorite in KC.

The restaurant has returned to its roots with the decor of the original bar area and seating area in booths… The Thanksgiving meal was excellent and well conceived for hotel guests and non-guests alike… The normal menu appears to have also returned to its roots with basics… Immediately after 21C took over the property, the bar area seemed to be renovated without regard to the decades long history of this downtown Kansas City icon… My compliments to the management responsible for keeping with tradition… An interesting option was presented at the table for ordering beef Wellington… Very well done… Often times traditional items such as this are ignored in favor of healthier options… We look forward to trying it in the near future

What an amazing experience. I had been to the Savoy before it closed and was glad to see it re-opened! Love that it maintained the historical aspects of the restaurant. The food and service were amazing along with the wine list and cocktails! Would highly recommend this for a special nigh out!

The menu is very limited, I feel, it was overpriced for what we had. For starters we had the Seared Rougie Foir Graw the only thing I can say about that is the Savoy Dinner Rolls were, after my wife had the waiter bring regular butter, very good. For the entrée I had the Seared Diver Scallops and for a side I had the Roaster Beets, the Beets were ok. My wife had the Stake Diane and had the Potato’s and Celery Root. She said the Stake was ok. Nothing we had was great or unusual and I would suggest anyone thinking about dinner at the Savoy in KC should look at the menu first. The only bright spot was the waiter he was very helpful and friendly.

Our waiter was great.....we were not rushed through our meal and that was quite nice. The noise level was quite loud when the band was playing making it difficult to carry on a conversation,\.

They ran out of scallops so we went with our second choices from the menu. The pork shoulder sounded good but was incredibly dry. I think it likely had good flavor but the lack of any moisture made it difficult to know.

This restaurant is a long time KC staple for fine dining. The latest ownership has maintained its outstanding reputation. Great food and drinks are coupled with the best service anywhere to make your dining experience always memorable. Some of the best pork or beef dishes you will have anywhere. Highly recommended.

We were so very excited for our reservation here! Three of our group of four were delighted with our entrees- the Campo chicken was possibly one of the best entrees I’ve ever had and I hardly ever order chicken-the others had the lamb pasta which they loved but prob not quite enough food for them. The crab fingers were a little odd and messy though the gin cocktail was excellent! Dessert was outstanding. Our server was very sweet and astute; for some reason his assisting staff was maybe not quite on the same page / timeline as him? While the musicians were all talented and selectionsgreat, the singer was right up on top of the microphone, which made our dining experience way too noisy. I mentioned something to the staff they said they were going to talk to them but it didn’t happen while we were dining. The art at the hotel was incredible – I highly recommend leaving time to take it all in, reading the artist intentions, etc. If you find the price-point a bit high, there is a 40% off coupon in your Kansas City symphony programs!

Great food choices that change with the season, quite and romantic atmosphere. Restaurant is connected to 2 floors of an art gallery. Even if you don't eat here the drinks and bar are a brief glimpse into the long history of The Savoy and Kansas City.

Our dining experience at The Savoy was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Ty, was conversational but not overly talkative, perfectly timed our drinks, appetizer, and main course, offered helpful drink suggestions, and went the extra mile to make the evening memorable. The food…my god…the sauces alone will have me dreaming of this meal for months.

It was such a special experience to dine at The Savoy. The food and service was truly over the top! We were members of the Santa Fe Trail Association and were hoping to see the Goslin Santa Fe Trail Murals. However. It was so dark it was difficult to see the artwork. We would like to suggest more appropriate lighting for these special murals.

Service was decent. Our first time here for a special occasion and the vibe was weird. It is a VERY dark restaurant that seems more like a bar with expensive food. You enter through a red light district door, not joking, I had to look at a bright red light throughout our entire dinner. Drinks were good, food was a la carte and expensive. Good food, but overly salted. Menu selection is a little limited. Crossed it off the bucket list, but won't return. The adjoining hotel has some unique artwork to look at before or after dining.

The Savoy has so much character and history. It is pricey but elegant and dramatic, with carved wooden booths. We were seated right next to the musicians (who were very good) but could still converse without yelling. Very nice Manhattan. Green tomato jelly was a big hit. Ditto, French fries with aioli, and rolls with spicy butter. We shared sides as starters and everything was surprising and delicious. The entrees we had were all superb, creative combinations of ingredients. The wait staff were very attentive, informative and personable. Only downside is parking.

Great service and atmosphere. My only feedback would be that the swordfish schnitzel was VERY salty. Otherwise an overall great evening.
