Love everything about Savoy21 but a bit pricey for small plates. $200 for two but we did buy the kitchen drinks for $9 and the hubs had a $30 old fashion

Savoy took good care to follow safety protocols during COVID. A QR code was provided for reading the menu and hotel did temperature checks at the door. I brought my 13 and 14 year old to experience a nice meal and they were excited to try new foods. When the amuse-bouché came the kids looked puzzled and quickly googled it. Dinner was prompt and despite a small menu they had choices for everyone. I enjoyed the DelMonica it was well seasoned and cooked to my request. My husband got the prime rib which was served with the best horseradish I’ve ever eaten. It was creamy, smooth with just a mild punch. Our server was attentive and had fun knowledge of the building’s history.

What a find. We stopped by for a cocktail and appetizers. Upon arrival we viewed the menu posted on the outside of the building. Nothing looked that great and actually thought about leaving. But fortunately we went inside.
We shared the oysters, they were ok, small and $3 each, too much, we had the bacon wrapped cherry peppers, very good. we had the crispy fried lumpia. Never heard of it before but I would order again it was very good.
Then came the cheeseburger made from aged steak. It was out of this world. I wish I had not shared it with my wife.
We will be going back for the food and the service.

Really great price for the quality of food. The midwestern burger was absolutely incredible... also tried the crab Rangoon and fried lumpia. Everything was exceptional. Definitely going back soon.

A more modern departure from what it used to be (not to discount the traditions of the past, I have always been a fan). Modern menu, solid cocktails (hint, Horsefeather). Enjoy the galleries as you arrive, or before and after a meal. Outstanding.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in KC. It was exceptional, especially for the current climate and worries about health and safety. We dined at the private table on a Monday night and did the chef's tasting menu. Food was as stellar; unique and memorable and representative of Joe West's playful perspective as a chef. I highly recommend this experience.
Fantastic chicken and grits! The cocktails are great too. A little on the pricey side, but totally worth it when it comes to the ingenuity of the food. Definitely worth the visit.
My wife and I stayed with 21C KC for our 5th anniversary. We decided to try the The Savoy that night instead of going out. It was everything we wanted and then some. The Amuse-Bouche was next level and wonderful compliment of the kitchen. The service was EXCELLENT. Our server gave us the kind of attention and focus that Covid-19 rarely allows at dinner time. His suggestion of the Old Fashioned was taken as boring at first and ended up being the best I have ever had (and I’ve had a few). I can’t spoil this one for you, but just trust me (and him!). I have a gluten intolerance and they were exceptional in helping me navigate the menu and remain safe. My meal was the KC strip but with a wonderful spicy twist. I could go on and on, but everything was great! Eat at Savoy whenever you are in KC!
I’ve lived in Kc my whole life and traveled around the world and I can honestly say this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Every dish was amazing, the drinks were amazing. Overall I was so impressed and can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I ate there for our 16 year wedding anniversary. We ate at The Savoy on our wedding night so we wanted to revisit to see the updates. The food was some of the best we have ever had. We ate the sweet and sour carrots, chicken wings, crab rangoon, prime rib and cheeseburger. All of the food was perfectly seasoned. The prices were reasonable so we felt like trying several dishes. Some shrimp ceviche was brought to us and it was a perfect bite. So many unique flavors and textures. We will be returning and recommending The Savoy to others.

Seemed like no one really knew what was going on. First words out of our waitresses mouth were can I get you anything from the bar? We were not even sure she was our waitress. Then we had to wait at least 20 min to order an appetizer despite trying to order it when we ordered the drinks- since we had already been sitting a while before our drink order. Another big annoyance was there were not many wines available by the glass, and not one of the wines was one we recognized. The staff seemed out of touch when we asked why this was. They seemed almost annoyed and said the wine list had just changed so they doubted it would change again for several months. I am from Oklahoma City and our 21-c restaurant - Mary Eddies- is wonderful on all levels! I was visiting family in Kansas City and was excited to bring them. They won’t be returning or bringing others,as I know they would have had the experience been better.

Ordered 2 eggs Benedict. I ate three bites n gagged. My daughter had 1 bite and quite eating it. Waiter said nothing. Worse breakfast ever. Shame on you. I’ll never come back. I looked so forward to it but was terribly disappointed.

Conner was exceptional from the start. The cocktails he delivered were superb and decadent. Amy was remarkable and always timely in her service, I never had to wait, I thank her for her attentiveness. It was a magical evening with my boyfriend 😊❤️thank you for all your care. I am 65 and have been going to the Savoy for years. My parents use to eat at the Savoy once a year while Christmas shopping when we were kids. It's changed but is still amazing. I desperately miss the Ceasar Salad prepared table side. It was delicious.

Savoy continues to amaze me with their attention to detail and willingness to give their patrons with dietary restrictions an inclusive and enjoyable experience. I have a dairy allergy and find it very difficult to have an inclusive enjoyable food experience while eating out. Every time I go to Savoy, I can always expect amazing food w/o feeling like I am overburdening the staff. It has become one of my favorite places to frequent.

Went to Savoy for 50 years, son went after reopening, said it was good so we tried it. Wife and I always went for Valentines day. It looked like it used to, we thought it was original. My son said it was not and it was replicated alot. They did a fantastic job ! Absolutely back on the schedule now. Just wish they would clean the murals....Thought that before the 1st closing.
