The Sandbar serves up the freshest Seafood in a warm sophisticated atmosphere with offerings such as our fresh oyster bar, wood burning grill and weekday Happy Hour promotion offered.

Located in the heart of world-famous Granville Island, perched over the water front with views from every seat. Guests can enjoy the bustle of the market, the non-stop energy of False Creek and the shores of Vancouver’s West End. the seafood boil was good but for the price maybe find mussels that have more meat in it as the meat inside was very small as was the clams. otherwise the food was good. I wasnt offered another cup of coffee at all and the coffee was not very hot. Desserts were good. Overall experience was good and would come back for sure. Waitress was very friendly and gracious and funny.

Seated at a low table that resembles a coffee table and two low chairs. Not comfortable for eating as table is too low. Would be more suitable as a bar table. $49 is to much for a small portion. Food was okay not great. Lots of tourists here.

Always a favourite spot when visiting Granville Island. Great place for business meetings or family gatherings. The Sablefish is the best thing on the menu! The Sandbar always offer a delicious selection of oysters! Will always recommend!

Raj provided excellent service and allowed us a lovely evening out. Food, service and timing between courses was incredible.

My wife took me to the Sandbar for my birthday and it was extraordinary. It was our 4th time going there over the last couple years and every time we're blown away. Weve been served by Tisha every time and she is by far the best server we've both ever had. She always goes out of her way to make us feel special. We requested the rooftop patio since we had never tried it before. We were originally sat at a table in the middle of the patio but once Tisha discovered it was my birthday she moved as to a table right at the railing so we could look out over the water. It was magical. Once moved, Ronnie became our new server and she was just as attentive and friendly, amplifying the experience even more. We were already blown away.... and then the food came. It was INCREDIBLE! We had the Tuna and the steak and they both were insanely ddelicious. I would just like to thank everyone at the Sandbar for always making our experience unforgettable. Shout-out to Tisha, Ronnie and the whole kitchen staff. We will be back for sure!

We always enjoy Sandbar when we come to Vancouver. The service and food never disappoint.

It took well over a half hour to get in our order, including our drink order. It took so long to get our drinks, that our appetizers arrived well BEFORE our drinks. It was busy, and we understand the server was doing what she could in the situation, but from sitting down and getting our water to having our order taken was 30-40 minutes later, and then like I say, getting food before drinks (there was a long delay on all drinks, apparently because one cocktail hadn't been made?) was just a bit frustrating. It took a long time to get the bill too, though once we managed to get it, it went quicker. But it was 3 hours that could have, and elsewhere would have been 2ish hours. (The extra time also caused problems with the parking meter for some people at our table.)
