   Visited the Sandbar to enjoy a meal with a friend visiting the West Coast and it did not disappoint. We were fortunate to get a table outside with the most gorgeous backdrop/view. Ordered the halibut that was delicious but temperature wise was not hot. Had the cheesecake for desert which was decadent. Our Server was amazing. Will definitely return.

   We had a great first experience at The Sandbar, Rhiannon was just perfect for our lunch. PS, thank you for treating us to the wonderful chocolate mousse for our 20th anniversary. Real delight

   I eat lunch here once a month or so. Always special. Excellent room. Views of the "inner harbour" aka False Creek. Superb food. Top notch service.

   Excellent service by Mitch who moved our table as the first seating area was much too loud. He also offered to mention to the hostess station that more ‘senior’ patrons probably appreciate seats away from the loud bar area. Very tasty fish from alder wood grill.

   Our server, Matt, was exceptional. He was constantly coming back to our table checking on the food, refills, anything else we might need, and if the food prepared met our requirements. He got all the slight changes to the items ordered perfect. The restaurants food was perfectly prepared for each of us. The restaurant was quiet which made the experience much more enjoyable. (There were many other tables completely filled with people.) We highly recommend The Sandbar Seafood restaurant on Granville Island, and will definitely be going back.

   We met family from out of town who were in Vancouver to participate in the BMO Half Marathon. Sandbar seated us a lovely table looking out onto the water. Food and service were impeccable. Kudos to our server Rhianna for being so friendly & patient as wwre so busy talking to order & she had to come back to our table twice to take our order.
