   Food not so good, bones in salmon, rice is not the same as previous owners. I’ve had salmon there many times and never had bones before. Very disappointed, can we get Brian back?

    The food was excellent, but the ambiance could be improved. Especially for the price, it felt like this should be a more premium dining experience. Location is good, a short drive away from beach and sunset views.

    Dinner was great but service was not! Our server went home unexpectedly and out table sat for about 25 minutes before we were waited on! Then, the food took forever to come out! And my order was completely wrong! I was very disappointed! However, my boyfriend had a fantastic meal!

    Everything was delicious except for my dad’s steak which was under cooked and tough. My steak was cooked beautifully and cut like butter. Strong drinks. Delicious apps! The service was amazing and they graciously took my dad’s steak off the bill. I think it was just a bad cut. Everything else was absolutely wonderful!

    We were so excited to eat here on our first night of our family trip. The atmosphere was good and our service was prompt. Our server was very kind. The problem was with the food. It wasn't nearly as good as other reviewers had described. For the price we paid, we would not return. There are other restaurants on Sanibel and Captiva that are much better!

    We love The Sandbar, have always had wonderful food and excellent service. Took friends ther on Thursday night. It was Thursday night so we were surprised to find it so crowded. There was a large table, very noisy, near us. We couldn’t really have a conversation with our friends (they had never been to The Sandbar before). Concerning food, everything was delicious - except, I ordered a Caesar salad, no anchovies. My salad had lots of anchovies, I couldn’t eat it. When I told the waiter, she said, “oh, I am so sorry” - but she charged me $9 for the salad anyway. Also, our entrees came out immediately after our salads- she said “sorry” but shoved all of the entrees on to our tiny table and left.

    The Sandbar is one of our favorite restaurants. It is always enjoyable experience. Tonight’s grouper special was outstanding . Our server Dani was very attentive and pleasant as always. The restaurant hasn’t missed a beat with the new owner.

    Service (Logan) and food were phenomenal. My Dark and Stormy was delicious. I sat in a booth and the gentleman on the back side kept pushing me around with his side of the booth. I moved and sat next to my husband. Besides that, great experience.

    Fish was undercooked and not fresh. Wasn't busy at all on a Friday night, yet the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen. Sent first fish order back and ordered Mahi instead of black grouper. It was better.

    The food was good, service was good. Neither were great. Menu is very limited. If you're expecting a fine dining experience this isn't it. The prices are way too high. We paid $150 for dinner for two but it felt more like a meal at Applebee's.
