   The Rum Fox: Where Even Vegetarians Clean Their Plates!! From the moment you step into The Rum Fox, you’re treated like royalty. The service? Impeccable. The food? So good, you’ll consider licking the plate, but please, resist the urge. Portions are just right. Not so massive that you need a forklift to carry you out, nor so tiny that you’re left searching for the rest of your meal. Each dish is a harmonious blend of flavors, textures, and colors that would make a rainbow jealous. Now, my wife is a vegetarian, a fact that often leads to her being offered the “chef’s special” of grilled air with a side of lettuce. But at The Rum Fox? She’s treated to a symphony of vegetarian options so delectable that I found myself eyeing her plate with envy. She usually eats like a bird, but here, she devoured every morsel. We’ve dined here multiple times, and each visit feels like a new adventure. The consistency in excellence is commendable, and the menu ensures there’s always something new to tantalise our taste buds. Highly recommended!

   Lovely meal. Attentive but pleasant staff with no airs and graces. We ate in the bar area so noise levels aren’t as low as in the restaurant but it’s a nice hub bub not loud. Food was great for 2 meat eaters and a veggie. Good choice of drinks. It’s a treat for a birthday and a lovely evening was had by all

   Our fav restaurant bar none. Amazing food, unassuming yet brilliant head chef, friendly attentive staff. Love this place

   Our second visit, enjoyed dining room last time, bar area this time ,a little more atmosphere and cosier. Service and people were fabulous, food was excellent, had the venison and was great, my only slight criticism would have been nice to have 3 pieces rather than 2 as they were quite small, if it hadn't tasted so good it wouldn't have been a problem! Overall a fab meal and will be back soon I hope

   Great welcome and the service was excellent throughout . Food was delicious , menu was varied , not too clever but also creative , just the right blend , fresh hot and good value too .
