Food and service were exceptional. The menu was very good, we went for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. Very happy diners.

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted to a warm welcome the staff are efficient without being obtrusive. The food was outstanding and not surprised they were mentioned in the Michelin Guide should be awarded a Michelin star in my opinion. We would thoroughly recommend The Rum Fox as a destination if visiting the Ribble Valley

Our second visit this occasion was for a leisurely Friday lunch whilst the first was to celebrate my granddaughter s 18/th birthday with family on a busy Saturday evening. The same high standard's were evident on both occasions. We look forward to our next visit!

We had a lovely meal celebrating our son’s 21st birthday. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was nicely presented and tasty. Would recommend.

OMG! The gooseberry pannacotta! The most delicious thing ever! The ox cheek pudding was also delicious! Our favourite place.

Visited this saturday for lunch with friends and had a wonderful time from arrival to leaving. This is our 4th Visit to the Rum Fox and whilst its a good 80 minutes from our home in South Manchester, its well worth the drive. Warmly greeted by Bobs Mum in Law (sorry forgot name) and shown to our table set within the lovely dining area which has such a calm warm feel. All servers so pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. We had the "Set menu" which considering the quality of the food and preperation is expectional value and provides ample selection to choose from. (£30 for 2 courses /£36 for 3) Everything which should be hot arrives as it should (Hot) on beautiful array of stylish crockery. Presentation superb as is the taste. Bob always busy working in sight within the open Kitchen set in the Dining area but always has time to come over to the table for a short chat. We all left very happy and Full! The team here have certainly got it right and so pleased to have found this Gem of a Gourmet Pub.

The Rum Fox was the perfect destination to take our daughter for a special meal. We sat in the garden room, which was lovely as the roof was open and so it felt really informal, but as soon as the food arrived we were transported to another level! Both the starters and mains were fresh, vibrant and tasted amazing. It was great to be eating seasonal, locally sourced food. We shared a pud, as these are not to be missed, which again was the perfect end to the meal. The staff, as ever were attentive and very welcoming and the atmosphere in the whole pub was jovial and very cosy. Would highly recommend the Rum Fox, for any occasion.
