   It was such a lovely lunch outside in the garden - the staff was super friendly and our food very delicious - we couldn't have hoped for a nicer experience!

   Such a fantastic restaurant! I’ve eaten here several times, and sampled many things on the menu and everything has been consistently delicious. I think the prices are reasonable and in keeping with the quality you get. The staff is always incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. It’s a beautiful space to sit in regardless of what room you’re eating in, and the large patio out back is gorgeous. It’s obviously a designer space, but the snottiness that sometimes comes with fancy boutique hotels and restaurants just doesn’t exist here. Whenever we come here it just feels like a friendly local place that serves food and drinks.

   Amazing food, as usual. Our server was a bit lacking in familiarity with the wine list, but we made do.

   As always we enjoyed our visit to the Royal. The food was fantastic. The appetizers were creative and delicious the mains were amazing and service was excellent. We had the Lamb Pappardelle and the fresh Pickerel with a kale salad.

   The Royal has become our go t for celebrations - birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The dining room is lovely,and we enjoy being able to see into the kitchen. Our server last evening was professional, and had a nice sense of humour. I like the variety on the menu, there is something for everyone

   I took my husband to the Royal for his birthday along with our friends and we couldn’t have been happier. Superb as always. Can’t wait to return

    Fantastic patio with heaters and blankets. Blueberry stack pancakes are soo good. Coffee excellent. Service always great.
