   Jeff the mayor D greeted us politely and had a perfect table for us as we had requested a quiet table. Our server got our drink orders very quickly and gave us time to look at the menu and then we made our food order which came out hot altogether on time and tasted very good. After we had all finished, she cleared the places offered us dessert which we chose one of which was excellent. As always, the visit to Rosemary and Ty is probably our favorite restaurant in Sarasota.

   Based on previous menu options available online, I made a Mother's Day reservation assuming that there would be vegan options or at the least, good options that could be made diary free. Unfortunately, their Mother's Day menu, which wasn't publicized in advance, was quite limited and had no vegan options. The restaurant was very strict in what could be substituted and our waitress did her best to accommodate me. It was quite frustrating.

   The Rosemary and Thyme is hands down our favorite restaurant. From the second you walk in the door Jeff takes amazing care of you. If you’re lucky, the owner, George, is at the bar right behind him. His stories and wit are amazing. Ask for Georgiana to be your server. She’s kind, quick, competent, and quite possibly the best server in a 100 mile radius. Maybe more, but we don’t drive further than that. Obviously, we like the people, but don’t sleep on the food. It’s amazing! And if you do one of their 3 course meals, you’ll get amazing food at a great price! I can’t believe I wrote a review this long. I think you get the point. Go eat at the R&T.

   Four friends out celebrating a birthday the day before Mother's Day. We were quite pleased to be able to select from the 3 course special menu...and were extremely happy with our dinners. The service was excellent...everyone involved was attentive. This restaurant never fails to please me. I look forward to another wonderful dinner there soon.

   Wonderful meal serviced under the tent so rain did not disturb us. Lovely live music too.

    By mistake we arrived 1 hour early -7pm for an 8pm reservation. Jeff found a table for us. Great food, service, ambience!!
