Experience The Rooftop Bar! Enjoy expansive views and gorgeous sunsets above Mission Pacific Beach Resort voted the No. 1 resort hotel by Travel & Leisure's World's Best Awards in 2024. Enjoy lounge seating, cozy cabanas, a vibrant pool deck, fire pits, heated canopies, cool ocean breezes, service by the bottle, craft cocktails, and small Mediterranean bites as prepared by Chef Alec Vasquez until 9pm (Sunday-Thursday) and 11pm (Friday & Saturday).

The Rooftop Bar and Pool located on the sixth floor of Mission Pacific Beach Resort maintains a walk-in policy and is dog friendly. Please note reservations are only available for parties of six or more.

I rented a cabana for my Birthday. We had the best time. Amazing service and super fun. We used the pool and the hot tub also.

Beautiful place! Great food! Poorly managed unfortunately… Either the TVs don’t work on the Cabana you rented for SUPERBOWL, or the heater on your table is the only one that doesn’t work… or you run out of premium tequila ON NATIONAL TEQUILA DAY… All fixable if well managed.

The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific is worth experiencing! Great view of the ocean/pier from the rooftop. A very relaxing spot to enjoy delicious food and cocktails! We only had two of their dishes on this first visit. The chicken sandwich and cheese platter were delicious! I have to give props to Austin. The way he answered all of our questions, took great pictures, etc., is commendable! He made our dining experience that much more pleasant! We were there early (noon-ish), so it wasn't noisy at all. It may be noisier later in the day. All in all, great vibe! We will definitely be back!

Service from Noah and Chuck was top-notch—attentive, kind, and professional, making us feel truly taken care of. A perfect way to enjoy a beautiful evening by the coast.

Awesome view. Beautiful surroundings. Background music was too loud to carry on a conversation with our friends but toned down halfway through our visit. Loved our server but she had too many tables to attend to. Food was very good but slow to arrive. All in all, an above average experience.

One of your only choices with an epic ocean view. We had a reservation, and got there right when it opened, so we had a great table. There are umbrellas everywhere, but there are gaps in shade, so if everyone in your party needs shade, mention that at the front desk. We were seated right away, and Travis took great care of us. He's very positive and friendly. Cocktails are excellent, and food was great. Check the menu before you go. It's really better for creative small plates to share, rather than full entrees. We parked on the street and paid the meter. It was only $1 / hour. You can also choose to valet if the streets and other paid lots are full.

It was the 4th and bar was overwhelmed with orders so cocktails took a long time to received. Flyover experience and color guard was exceptional.

Excellent place to be any time of the year. So thrilled they honor our military! We had some small dishes and ice tea for the 4th of July. We had a very memorable day overlooking the Top Gun house, pier and seeing an amazing fly over with historic planes. The staff were lovely and the food tasty. Our server, Jayden, was fantastic!

Was supposed to be a special birthday with a beautiful view table listed in the instructions on the open table reservation. Instead we were stuck with a bad table, then moved to a better table. No consideration was made for bday celebration. Now opportunity lost. They need to focus on customers first.
