A Birthday Celebration at The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific, 201 N. Myers St. Every year, I celebrate my birthday in beautiful Oceanside, CA and one of my must repeat visit spots is The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific. It has become a personal tradition, and this year was no exception. Craving their signature Oyster Oh Lala, I stopped by for a birthday lunch and was warmly welcomed by Liv, our amazing server. She didn’t just provide great service she treated us like family. Her attention to detail and genuinely kind nature made our experience unforgettable. We were also greeted by Lisa, the host, whose inviting energy and friendly demeanor made us feel instantly comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming perfect for a special day like mine. Lieve recommended the Stonesteps cocktail, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. For food, I went with her suggestions: the grilled octopus and Caledoia shrimp and wow, both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were bold, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like a celebration. The ambiance, the ocean view, the food, and most of all, the hospitality made this lunch truly special. And the best part? My day isn’t over I’ll be returning tonight to enjoy the rooftop experience all over again. Thank you to the incredible team at The Rooftop Bar for making my birthday celebration so memorable. I can’t for my 7pm reservation tonight…

The view was beautiful and we were seated right away. Unfortunately, we were left to not be served for 40 minutes. The food is very unique, make sure to read the menu before going.

Blown away by this addition to Oceanside!! We recently celebrated my niece’s birthday here. First, we were seated by a super friendly hostess who reserved a beautiful table for us. The VIEWS, VIEWS VIEWS are spectacular! The seating is lush and comfortable. Cocktail menu inspired by San Diego surf spots is a remarkable touch and welcome. Our server was incredibly attentive, warm, knowledgeable and charming. His joyful presence made our celebration all that more special. We ordered just about everything on the menu, and again were blown away the the freshness of the food, veggies sourced from local farmer’s markets, incredible presentation, and the most creative, unique and DELICIOUS sauces!! Then the desserts!! We had the smores, tiramisu and fruit tart. The thought that has gone into these in-house creations has paid off!! We are sort of chocolate snobs and this smores dessert is one of the best we’ve ever had!! This will now be our go to place for celebrations and for showing off the beautiful California Coast to our visitors!! And one more convenience … valet parking! Thank you Rooftop Bar staff for providing us a simply magical afternoon!!

Our server, Ruth, was amazing! The food was very good, but it was a sparse quantity, so be prepared for that. We loved the view and nice background music - it was just the right volume. Be prepared for high prices, but also be prepared for a lovely experience.

Great setting atop the Mission Pacific Beach Resort. Didn't get the sunset over the ocean we were hoping for (darn marine layer), but we were having such a great time, we didn't mind. Host Samantha was charming and wonderful, as was our server Liv. Manager Margaux stopped by several times to ensure that we were properly taken of (and we were!) The drinks, food and service were fantastic. My only suggestion for improvement in an otherwise great venue, would be to establish an area where the music was a bit quieter for parties like ours where all 6 of us are in our sixties and, well, you know how old people are with noise...

The DJ really ruined the evening. No one wants to listen to 120 beats per minute blasting on 11 at 7:30 in the evening and watch the sunset

First time checking out this place and I am pleasantly surprised. My friend and I sat by the pool area which was absolutely gorgeous. Great ambiance and even better music coming from the dj booth. Our server, Soleil was wonderful. She was attentive and friendly. She totally fit the vibe of the place. She let us know right away bar service was a bit slower that night and was quick to have us put in our drink orders which made everything seem so smooth and quick. She knew the menu and helped us pick out greats starters for us to enjoy with our drinks. I would totally recommend this place to friends and definitely will be back.

The rooftop experience was better than I expected. The ambience, the noise level accommodations. Everything was better than expected. Our server Jennifer was absolutely delightful. Very helpful answered all our questions. The food was on another level. I am definitely returning. This will be a place that we start coming to. With friends and family. The view was beautiful.
