MYC Function Room: With large windows across the room and large bi-fold doors opening out to the main balcony overlooking Mornington Harbour, the function room caters for sit-down weddings of up to 80 people including a dance area. For cocktail-style weddings, we can cater for up to 150 people. The Restaurant / Deck area exclusive: Larger sit-down weddings of up to 110 people can be accommodated when booking the Restaurant and Deck area exclusively for your wedding party. This area can also cater for up to 250 guests, for a stand-up, cocktail-style weddings.

Scallops were excellent as were the crab tacos. Always an enjoyable feast at The Rocks to celebrate anything or nothing at all!

Absolutely loved it. One thing we were disappointed in was that the lamb cutlets were very tough for some strange reason. Our waitress was wonderful, she got replaced them but unfortunately they were also tough. Otherwise it was a wonderful night, service was outstanding, rest of the food was delicious. We’ll be back

We have probably visited half a dozen times now. Nothing disappoints. The service this time from one particular waitress was absolutely awesome-with non-intrusive chatty, genuine conversations. At a restaurant, you may not always remember exactly what you ate, but you certainly remember the way you felt when you were there. That is what we took away this time, a particularly an amazing experience.

Beautiful spot with views however on a cold day the deck is unusable due to wind and cold getting in there. Decor is very simple. Service was great and the food was excellent albeit on the expensive side.

We are Mornington locals and we rate ‘The Rocks’ as the best seafood restaurant on the Peninsula. We sampled the ‘Seafood Experience’ which appears a little expensive but is by far the best value for money and a great way to graze through what ‘The Rocks’ does best. If you go this way you need to be hungry and have around 2 to 3 hours to fully enjoy this 8 course delight.

The menu choice and ambience was lovely. We had the flathead fillets with chat potatoes on the specials list, the spaghetti marinara, the oysters and bread off the main menu. Felt they were a bit overpriced for what we got. The waitress/kitchen forgot our bread, we did eventually receive it. It would have been nice to receive some bread with spaghetti and not have to pay extra for it. Staff were lovely and location is great.

My husband and I absolutely loved our lunch last Friday. The food, drinks and service were all amazing. Can’t wait to go back :)

Really lovely food and great service but I can’t help but think if I’m spending g $50 on a lamb shoulder there should be something other than gravy on the plate. Potatoes? A couple of beans? The mussels were also delicious, but again, surely they should be served with a few fries for a traditional moules frites? There is something ungenerous about this style of dining that leaves me feeling a bit dissatisfied.
