My dates hamberger was very raw and he asked for well done. He did not eat it. My club sandwich was very dry and salad was okay. Dressing was below average. Jane Young, club member, had to send her pasta back it was cold and dry. She got a salad and soup. She was not happy with it either. Her husband did not make a coment. Fries were good but for $17 or $18 for a hamberger???
The champayne bubblely was fun. The fried oyster was really tasteless and the truffle sauce did not make sence? Nobody finished them. Music was fabuluos as was the view!
Recomend ?...I am a member. I pay dues to not even eat there. I think lunch far exceeds dinner. The views are wonderful. I wish you could up the food. There are so many restaurants in Colorado Springs that are fabulous. Even down the street in old Colorado City, Walters, Joseph's, Broadmoor, Paravichini's, Crystal Park Cantina, Famous...I could go on. I pay dues to eat here and the food is??? I do not understand at all. I am a good gourmet cook.
I do have to say last summer you were awesome to my granddaughter who has celiac disease and peanut allergies. They stayed at the club for three days and you were more then wonderful to them. Thank you. I love the club and want it to survive.
Great view. Wonderful food and service
No matter the weather, there is no place more beautiful to dine. It was so peaceful and service was excellent. The shrimp and grits were really flavorful with a ragout on top.
Always great... and the best view in town!
Great food and service. Laura is an amazing entertainer . Took friends and they were so impressed with the atmosphere , food , service and entertainment . It was especially nice to not wear masks finally. It will be where we will spend many Saturday evenings.
Very nice lunch and. gave us a square table to play ourMahJongg. Very attentive waiter . My guests enjoyed it very much .
Samantha was a great server her trainee was fun. Our visiting friends were impressed with the fun and the ambiance. The music by “Steve” was enjoy at as well.
Great breakfast in a beautiful setting. Server was gracious and helped us get a nice picture, even taking us outside to make sure we got a good view of the mountains.
Had a quick meeting and the service was most helpful in seating and service.
It was a weekday evening so it was calm and relaxing. It’s one of our favorites places to eat.
We ate on the outdoor patio which is enclosed with plastic sheeting to keep the warmth in. Unfortunately, there were two people using their phones, one on speaker phone, that were for a while pretty disturbing. Once they stopped, everything was very nice.
Upon arrival it seems all would be good. We were immediately seated. Soon our server came over to explain specials and get drink orders. From that point on, things went south. Drinks took forever. Our appetizer came, salads never did. The food took over 45 minutes and when it finally came the steaks were very rare when medium was requested. I’m sure something was going on in the kitchen because it was a fiasco from almost start to finish. On the positive side, knowing what a disaster it was, they comped both steak orders.
Service was great and our wait person, Shaina was terrific. Familiar with the menu, answered our questions, lit the fire table and brought over a heater. Food was fantastic. A very enjoyable luncheon and a perfect day.
Hamburger rare instead of med well requested. Bun dissolved after 3 bites! How hard can it be?
i have been a member for 50 years. most beautiful view in the world.
A wonderful outdoor birthday experience for my wife (her birthday) and I. In spite of the cool temps, we sat outside very comfortably with the newly installed clear windbreak shielding and a space heater providing warmth and a view of fabulous Pikes Peak. The food was great and the service attentive but not intrusive.
Food was excellent and it was fun on the patio with heaters and warm clothes!
Eggs Benedict. Poached eggs were a little over done. Definitely needed to be more generous with the Hollandaise Sauce. Without the sauce and over done eggs the English muffin was dry. The berries were excellent. Overall enjoyed the morning.
Very nice evening. It will be better when the new new heaters and other equipment arrives.
Excellent breakfast. Comfortable on a cold morning. Great service and food.
Wonderful evening. Very comfortable with the heaters on a cold night.
