   My waitress Mia was absolutely awesome! She was attentive and on point. The food was delicious, some of the best mac-n-cheese I've had in Richmond, somebody had their granny back there!!

   Dope brunch spot in Va! There was a little fishy smell when we arrived but after seeing the menu, it made sense. The French toast was bomb, the crab and shrimp omelette was delishhh! Mimosa flights were A-1 and the music was perfect!

   We were allowed to make reservations twice now on dates the restaurant is not open! The first time it was listed online however today we drove all the way to the restaurant to see they’re closed on Saturday Sunday and Monday.

   I wanted to love this black owned restaurant. Traveled from nyc for my friends birthday. We arrived at our reservation time and it went downhill from there. Placed our order after waiting 30 mins with only water at the table. After 50 mins the polite waitress came back to say no champagne. Not sure why you wouldn’t have enough for brunch that is all day. Ordered another drink and was told they didn’t have that either, but not on the spot . Keeping your waitress informed would cause less of a headache to the customers. After an hour or more was told they didn’t have shrimp. Then after 20 mins no grits. We were about to leave but the waitress said she wanted to comp my dinner. The food when finally received was really good, but the service will make me not return. The waitress did the best she could but the restaurant needs improvement. The manager should of came over to apologize or explain. I was planning to do a highlight Vlog on my social media to give them some free promotion, but unfortunately I can not. I hope they improve because the food was good.

   I suggest eat before you come because they take a hour and a half to bring food .. also when you have a party of 6 or more you have a 2 hour time limit .. how can you have a 2 hour time limit and you take 1 hour and a half to bring food and giving 30 minutes to eat the waitress said we went over our time like no you guys did for us waiting on food… overall it is a great experience I can’t take that away just EAT SOMETHING SLIGHT BEFORE COMING!

   We started with the french toast bites, which were good. For dinner, I had fish, mac and cheese, and cabbage. It was decent but nothing to brag about. The spiked sangria mule drink was not good. The service was a bit slow, but the chill atmosphere made up for the delay in the food and beverages. We are going to give this spot another try.

   I liked the ability to make reservation on line. One person was pleased with the amount of salmon in her salad. I didn’t expect plastic utensils. One of the six people in my party was pleased with her order. I ordered the chili shrimp, it was too much batter and not hot. The concerns were food wasn’t hot, I made the reservation online and wasn’t told your party has one hour 30 minutes after ordering to finish. The front door kept opening due to wind.

    Small place so noise travels and guest can be very loud. Servers were nice and professional. Food and drinks were delicious and came out within a reasonable time. My only problem was I reserved a table and upon arrival my guest and I were seated at the bar. The bar stool had no back and I was very uncomfortable.
