The best restaurant on Staten Island. Their menu is like no other. Very unique and well thought out. The flavor combinations they have are just genius. So amazed each and every single time we go. Their cocktails are phenomenal too. And for a mom who likes to eat out with her little kids, the coloring pages and crayons that they give out are immediately a reassurance that you can have an amazing fancy meal even with your kids! A much appreciated extra bonus.

Patio was tastefully decorated and covered in case of rain. Service was terrific friendly and professional. The food was delicious - the salmon large plate, the tuna tartare and the fish tacos were all great. The crème brûlée was a stand out. Highly recommend.

Always love coming to The Richmond for the ambiance and food. This time was particularly awesome thanks to our server Jessica. She was friendly, attentive, prompt, and made sure our friend felt special for this birthday dinner. Can’t wait to come back and couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Special occassion or casual dining. Staff are attentive and friendly. Steak for two special is a great value and includes a bottle of wine from the wine list. Tomahawk (ribeye with the bone) Steak was cooked perfectly, sliced and plenty for 2 people. Included fresh sautéed string beans, mashed potatoes and dessert from the menu. Others raved about the short rib mac n cheese and fried chicken. The mussels and cheese board were great apps for sharing.

The fried calamari was so tough we couldn’t eat it. We told the waiter and he said sorry about that and still charged us. The tomahawk steak was a little disappointing It was very fatty, but the parts that weren’t were delicious. I don’t expect I would be coming back.

Had the one dollar oyster specials they have between 5 & 7PM on thursday through fridays and they were exceptional in presentation and taste. The French onion soup the best I have ever had. The service was above the rim with the entire staff being courteous and attentive. Even the valet car attendant was very attentive and polite. Being seventy-one years old I have dined in many great five star restaurants around the world, make no mistake, once you enter the doors and are seated, you are in one. Enjoy!

Made reservations with friends at The Richmond prior to a show at The St. George Theater. We have been there before under the same circumstances and had a wonderful experience. Last night was the same great experience. Great service and delicious food. We were all very satisfied.

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 3 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful! The Richmond is truly the best restaurant on Staten Island.

Made appointment for Mother’s Day. Only patio available. Got there and there were multiple tables inside available (the entire time we were there) but was seated outside. There is an apartment next door and no wall or fence to block the view. For the entire meal my family and I watched a man in his underwear throw out garbage, do laundry, smoke a cigarette. Not a great view for Mother’s Day. I have been here many, many times over the years and this was just awful. I ordered the lamb. Terrible dry meat, super small. They forgot my side dish. My family has good food so at least that was a plus. The drinks were also great, I guess I just needed to drink more to forget how terrible the rest of the experience was. What a shame.

We have been to The Richmond before. Times prior the food was good, drinks were great and the service was normal. Last night, was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. Everything was pretty bad. The drinks were made nice but had to wait 30 minutes to order drinks. Every table around us had gotten bread when they sat down. Not us. To me, the place seemed that it was poorly managed and the staff was not being utilized properly. The waitress was kind but not attentive in the slightest. Would never return.

We frequent the Richmond quite often and are never disappointed. The service is exceptional, the food is always good and the bartender never misses a beat. The manager, Chrissy, is always accommodating and treats everyone like family. We’ll be back for sure.

First time here, food, service, vibe was outstanding. One of the nicest places with great food on the island. Only thing I’d like to mention is their liquor prices are a bit pricey, although, they do have a reasonable higher end wine list that is priced fairly.
