   Food was excellent. Server was terrific- prompt, personable, efficient. Very nice guy. There weren’t too many diners, so the noise level was low, and we had a quiet corner. A very nice brunch!

   This is one of my favorite places to stay and the restaurant is fantastic! My husband and I stayed during a very quiet time and so there weren’t that many diners with us in the restaurant. It was great! The atmosphere is really cozy and we sat by the fire. Service was attentive and friendly and the food was great!

   The restaurant was very nice, but they didn’t quite have their act together. Brought out one out of two appetizers. After a long wait reminded them of the other appetizer. They brought me a spoon but no appetizer. Two employees came over to apologize and they did comp us drinks. Finally, I said forget the appetizer because I’m sure my meal will be coming now, and they brought the appetizer, which really was not worth the wait. My filet mignon, which I ordered, medium rare came out on the well side. My wife had the rigatoni which she said she would order again.  The waitstaff was very friendly and overall I would give the place another try honestly.

    We have been coming to Baron’s NYE for 5 years now. Service and food have been declining, and they are now charging the whole meal + >20% gratuity in advance, which seems inappropriate particularly when service is certainly not up to speed. Waitress also charged us for the wrong bottle of wine which was more expensive, did not follow up on ingredient inquiries as requested. Not likely to return for dinner next year unfortunately
