   We made a Christmas Eve reservation and they were CLOSED!!! We receveived an email confirmation for our reservation, they had a Christmas Eve menu on their website but when we got there they were closed. Thankfully the wonderful bar around the corner was opened and suggested the Indian restaurant nearby which was delicious. Very disappointed!

   It was ok...food ok, staff ok, atmosphere ok..sum total of ok. Not sure I’d rush back when there are so many eateries in London to try!

   A really busy pub with grub that has great service and range of drinks plus a varied menu. Always worth booking a table because it is very popular and especially lively in the evenings, the waiting staff are commendably attentive. Best on the menu is pie, or fish, or steak and chips with everything and great side orders.

   Despite booking well in advance, and re-confirming our visit the day before, when we turned up for Sunday dinner there was no table reserved for us. After being told there was no availability, I referred to our booking. The waitress then showed the four of us to a small unprepared table in the dingiest part of the venue. There weren’t even enough seats at the table so she started borrowing empty seats from other occupied tables. We decided to leave so can’t comment on the food or value, although I had to put a mark against it above in order to complete the review.

   Very bad service. 3 of us went, 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan. We all ordered the vegan option at £12.50 and received a plate of lettuce leaves with a smattering of the listed ingredients. Absolutely awful. It was actually my birthday so doubly disappointing.
