The Public Kitchen & Bar was designed to elevate the typical casual restaurant experience while still maintaining an accessibility for the average diner. The kitchen sources all of its ingredients from local farms with which they have outstanding working relationships. All the beef served is all-natural and 100% grass fed. The restaurant itself is situated in a historic building with iconic mid-century architecture, completing The Public Kitchen's unique atmosphere.At The Public Kitchen diners can start with tuna tartare, oyster stew, white bean olive hummus, bacon wrapped scallops or a local blue crab dip. There is also a daily soup that changes depending on what the chefs have up their sleeve. Main courses include plates like the New York strip steak, seared tuna with roasted baby root vegetables, Thai coconut red curry, duck leg confit, grilled bone-in pork chop and braised oxtail with collard greens and mashed potatoes.
