    Food was delicious. Service was slow. Got our first 5 dishes quickly after each other. I think they forgot about our last course but blamed the kitchen and didn’t offer anything to us even though we waited about 30 minutes for our last dish to arrive. Food was great, experience was lackluster.

    Absolutely outstanding food and service. The best restaurant in SF in my opinion. I take everyone I know there. The food is so innovative. And our server was beyond compare. She even went above and beyond dealing with a cranky 15 year old in our group, getting her a special off menu crafted drink.

    For years this restaurant has continued to offer both innovative and delicious, a difficult combination to achieve. The wine list is extensive but offers excellent value. The service is knowledgeable and professional. Eating there is always a wonderful experience.

    Out of this world! One of the best if not best dining experiences of my life. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. We're vegetarians, and there were so many options along with many meat and seafood options, too. Can't wait to return!

    Food, ambience and drinks were all great! But the hostess was cold and rude. She’s probably one of the managers. My son who is 3.5 years old took a min to settle in. She was giving him stares and asked us if he is going to break the branches of a tree they had right next to us she could relocate us. Our waitress was good and responsive but none of the staff were particularly warm towards anyone. Don’t recommend it if you have kids or looking for a warm friendly atmosphere.

    This was our first time dining at The Progress. At first, I was disappointed to be taken upstairs away from the action, but the space with the window windows was pleasant and intimate for the five of us. We brought a couple special bottles of wine and they kept it cold immediately. Explanation of the food options was informative, and we were very pleased with all the food that we ordered. We will definitely be back and recommend to others.

    Generally a very good restaurant. Food had amazing flavors. Was very disappointed with the service. Rushed and when I tipped over 20% he was unfriendly for the rest of the interactions.
