Once a year we visit the DC location however we will visit the Maryland LIVE location instead and more often especially since it has a cigar patio.
Everything was as expected. Very good indeed.
Great service! Our meal was delicious! We shared the calamari, Caesar salad and sautéed mushrooms, which were enough for two. The ribeye and filet mignon were excellent medium rare.
All the food was fantastic, except for my steak. I don't think it was seasoned before cooking. The hostess also decided to seat us right next to the kitchen for some reason, when the dining room was mostly empty.
We went to Prime Rib to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The food was excellent. We were seat promptly when we arrived. Our server, Marissa, was excellent. We look forward to asking for her the next time we go to Prime Rib
the service was good but i ordered prime rib and it was served cold as well as my husbands creamed spinach, we sent it back to be reheated. In my opinion they should have brought out a new cut..
My wife and I rarely find time for ourselves throughout the year, when we do it is very special for us. Sunday 3/1/20 was one of those special evenings. We had planned on attending a concert at Maryland Live, which starts at 9pm. We had heard great things about The Prime Rib inside of MD Live. We made reservations for 7:30 and arrived on time.
We ordered apps and entrees at 7:50. Apps came out pretty quick, which was French Onions Soup, House Salad and Ceasar Salad. The French Onions soup was a bit bland and oily. The Ceasar and House Salad was tasty. 8:15 we have not received our entrees. I tried to flag down a few waiters but the restaurant was pretty busy, which is a good thing for the restaurant. I finally spoke with a waiter and ask for ETA of my entrees, his reply was open-ended at best. 8:30 still no entrees to be found. At this time, I asked to speak with the manager. 8:45 the manager arrives, I cancelled my order and the manager casually apologized for the delay and comp'd the apps and drinks.
As we were getting ready to leave, I noticed 2-3 tables that arrived after us had finished their meals and leftovers packed up. I also noticed 2-3 tables arrived before or at the same time we did and did not receive apps or entrees. It seems to me the tables still waiting for food was mostly Asians and we are in facts Asians as well. Perhaps there is a trend here, perhaps not. I understand the restaurant was busy, but we felt like we were ignored the entire time. This was a terrible experience and highly unlikely to return.
If there was a ZERO STAR option, I would select it. We waited 45 minutes for our entree. While other Non-Asian customers received their food much quicker. Sad but true, Non-Asian Patrons received better and quicker service.
I hope The Prime Rib establishment revised its policies.
Food was very poorly served. Steak came very cold so was our two sides. They have to be sent back for warming. Mac and cheese was very cold and not a trace of lobster.
Needed water and no one came round. Had to call a passer by server for water.
Asked for sauce of my salmon on the side. It came with nothing.
After many years of dining at the original Prime Rib, I found this location to be a poor duplicate. The service and ambiance were excellent, but the food was not up to par. First, we were told that they only had two signature prime ribs left, when we ordered four. When the beef arrived it was cold. The size of the sides was half what we are used to getting for the lobster mac and cheese, and the brussel sprouts. Both were not good at all. The asparagus was delicious and hot when served. Overall, I was very disappointed. I spoke with a manager who simply made excuses for the problems. Go to the Prime Rib by the Meyerhof. It is ten times better!
The service was perfect and atmosphere was amazing. Our meal could have been a little better quality for what we paid for it. My crab cakes were just average. They were served room temperature with little seasoning. Not what you would imagine for the price and for Maryland crab cakes. Overall my husband felt his steak was seasoned well and cooked to the right temperature. It was not one of the best meals we have received here but very enjoyable.
Steak was good but I tasted my brother’s smoked pork chop...omg it was Awesome!!!!
Despite going to Live almost twice a month for the last 4 years, this was our first time dining here. It was great seeing an old face from our favorite restaurant (Gaby, manager). We knew then from previous experiences.that the service and food would be impeccable and it was. Our only problem was that we were not told that the Peruvian chicken would take as long as it did ahead of time. My son loved it but would have ordered something different so we could have eaten sooner.
The food was really great. Service was awesome. would recommend.
This was one of best, We were so pleased with everything the service and food was outstanding. This was the quality one would desire at all times. great!!!!
It was amazing! Better than Ruth cris and Gordon Ramsey
Regrettably my steak was over cooked and had to be sent back which had my romantic dinner with my bride eating her meal before mine; Other than that, service great, food great, love the ambiance; I will be going back.
Me and my husband went here for our valentines weekend celebration and it was amazing.
Hello Sir/Ma'am/Prime Rib,
Hands down a great place to literally wine and dine. Amazing food, quality service. Not to mention the free valet that comes with this. However, the one MAJOR problem is that valet is NOT guranteed with your reservation. Even though its offered, once the lot is "full" cars are turned away leaving you to park on your own. While this isn't a problem, if there isn't even space for Reservations w/ Valet [for The Prime Rib] then it shouldn't be offered. This means, you have to drop your wife/spouse/signifcant other off at the door or have them walk with you... which isn't ideal considering.
The food was top notch and the service was very fast and professional.
Food was excellent, service was excellent, a bit pricey, but expected for level of food and service.
Do not go to this Prime Rib Location!!!! We went to the original in Baltimore and loved it!! We payed to stay at Casino Live to have the same experience and not have to drive home. Had advertised Valentines Menu! This is what happens when you become a franchise!!
Great everything. Not as much of a variety for the side dishes as i would like. That is only complaint. Everything was great
I hope the crab cocktail is coming back to the menu.
This was the worse experience I ever had at a place I’m trying for the first time . They brought my filet out cold twice !! I will never return to this place ever again.
Was able to be sat immediately at my reservation time, but the service was horrible. I waited atleast an hour for my food and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The waiter wasn’t very accommodating to my requests and then proceeded to ask me at the end of the meal to pay him more in tip. Very rude. I will not be visiting this establishment again.
Had to wait a while for a fork
Had to wait a while for a server to take my order.
Had to wait a while for some bread.
Very bad experience ...
You pay a lot of money and it's not the best experience you end up getting...
I used to recommend this place more than I would. Certainly not for holidays these days. I used to be there once or twice a week but now it is hardly once or twice every several months. I booked a reservation 3 months in advance for Valentine's Day as it is where I proposed to my wife 2 years ago. We went there regularly as well as with her children as a family for occasions. This time, the experience was perhaps the worst I had. They over packed the restaurant instead of sticking to limited seating like they usually do, so the kitchen was ridiculously slow and the restaurant was far noisier than usual. The items on the prix-fixe menu was in smaller portions, and would cost less if you ordered them separately on the regular menu. People were getting seated who had no reservations. One of my regular servers was great at doing his job and maintaining his cool under pressure, but even he was annoyed by the overcapacity. I'm used to a slower pace for "fine dining" but to take over an hour for a prix-fixe menu made for a disappointing Valentine's Day.
We went on Valentine's day. We were sedated right away after that it went down hill. We waited over 1 hour for our meals to come out and this was with them offering a limited menu. I got a steak which was a little above room temperature, my wife ordered rack of Lamb, which had a ton of fat on them. This location really needs to step it up. Their prices are higher than RC, Bobby Van's and Flemings.
My favorite place to eat!
This is such a great place for a fancy dining experience. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and the service was fine dining at it's best. On a special occasion we will come back.
While expensive this is a place to experience a terrific meal with perfect attention to detail and great ambiance. We loved the place and the elegance. The Manhattans are perfect along with the meals. Met some nice people there and loved the visit from the manager and all the conversation.
Food was not up to par. Seafood platter included old tasting crab and lobster meat. Clams casino was barely hot. Prime rib was good and debase was excellent. Not the same as the downtown prime rib.
It was just as excellent as on previous occasions This time I had prime rib vs the bone in ribeye. Both good choices. My wife likes the filet and it has been served just as she likes. Will not hesitate to eat here again. Service has also been excellent!
A solid meal, the service was above average, however the main courses came out way too fast.
We had reservations at 7:00 pm and arrived early. Although there were empty tables, we were informed by the hostess that they could not accommodate us until 7:00 pm. We decided to sit in the bar area. The music level made it difficult to hold a conversation. We did ask the bartender to turn it down and it did go down slightly. Our salads were well prepared and delivered within a reasonable window, however we waited almost an hour and a half for our burgers, with no explanation or apology on the wait. We will not be returning to this restaurant as there are better options within the casino.
Friends visiting from Georgia. Chose the Prime Rib because I’ve enjoyed the food, service and esthetics in the past. We all thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.
Nice place nice food
Everyone in our group of 6 enjoyed it. We all look forward to returning.
Lovely evening, excellent food.
