We have been to Prime Rib before and never had issues like we did this time. Wife’s steak was just warm and Brussels sprouts were mushy. They took both back and simply heated up the steak which made it hot, but overcooked. Brussels sprouts were still mushy. When a supervisor came out, not even a manager or chef, he admitted it was the same steak but wanted to argue over the 10 dollar Brussels sprouts rather than the 50 dollar steak. Server was great but management and supervision sucks. They need training and frankly, I shouldn’t have been given a bill at all. This crappy meal and experience cost 128 dollars (not including tip). I will never go back, since I get better responses from outback or longhorn steakhouses. The Prime Rib should take their name back....live does not meet their standard.
Very good steak. It's high end steak restaurant which reflects the menu price. Tha atmosphere is great, good file steak. Their crab soup was very good.
The only thing I didnt like is that they dont enforce their dress code.
The food was amazing. My server Scott was so nice, patient, & efficient. He even took pictures for my date and I. The setting is so romantic. My drink was soooo good as well. If you love sidecars you’ll love the one at The Prime Rib.
Steaks were not cooked to order, in fact charred, lacked taste, too noisy.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and everything was perfect - between the service, food and ambiance - we enjoyed every minute.
Live Piano player was nice. Might or not be able to hear music in the main dining room depending on your location.
Food was served cold. Hostess gave us attitude for being 5 minutes early to our reservation.
Fantastic experience. Food and service was excellent. The waiter was one of the best I’ve ever had. He was attentive, personable, and a great asset.
Tonight’s visit was a disappointment and did not meet our expectations at all. We are frequent diners at Prime Rib, and found that our meal selection tonight did not meet Prime Rib’s standards. The prime rib that we ordered was bland, excessively fatty, and unusually tough. The server was inattentive, slow, and unresponsive to our concerns. The general manager gave us his card and promised to make things right “next time.” What was one of our favorite date night venues has just lowered itself on our list.
My experience at Prime Rib was exquisite from the ambiance to the ambiance down to the wait staff. There was one specific staff member that stood out from the rest. It was a gentleman by the name of Adam. Adam was attentive, patient, and very knowledgeable. Adam made my 40th a day to remember. He is truly an assets to the Prime Rib establishment.
Our waiter was very attentive, good at his job. The food was good. Our steaks were great. My potato
au gratin was too salty. Prices are high but it is a casino.
I liked the restaurant. The service was great, the ambience was very nice, and the food was tasty. I found it a little on the expensive side, but overall, I found the overall experience rewarding.
The noise was a little bit “too loud”:-)
My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary. Our server Nick was outstanding. He was personable and helpful.
We both ordered the prime rib. My wife had the smaller cut and I the larger. Mine was great. It was the perfect temperature and delicious. My wife’s on the other hand was horrible. The meat was tough and flavorless. The coloring was strange and it wasn’t cooked medium rare as requested (however i think this had little to do with the taste and texture).
All in all it was a disappointing evening.
Awesome everything! Superb food, atmosphere and service.
This is our go to steak house. Richard our server was terrific as always. I highly recommend The Prime Rib at Live!
Jason, our waiter was excellent and showed service with care and good attitude. Will dine again soon.
Food was average, mixed drinks were very good but certainly not worth the excessively high cost. My understanding was that coats were required but several patrons were dressed very casually.
I had made New Year’s Eve reservation and was not aware of the limited menu. Other then the fact that they served a vegetable no one in our party liked I was asked to pay $99 per person for this limited menu with no substitutes. When I made reservation this was not made aware to me as if it was I would have gone elsewhere. So very disappointed and I spent probably an extra $200 I did not plan on spending
It took 1 hour for my food to come out. I ordered a specially made shrimp scampi to come out with my steak and they brought me reheated cocktail shrimp with butter on the side. My lamp chops were very fatty. I’ve had better experiences at other Elegant steakhouses
James was amazing
This is the second time we ate here and were very pleased both times. It is an "adult" restaurant given that it is quiet, and the staff is "dressed" rather than in jeans. Our steak was cooked exactly as ordered and carved in the kitchen as requested. The sides were very good. We also had a delicious and well priced.
I this is the 3rd time I’ve eaten here, and I was very disappointed this time. The service was atrocious, but I don’t 100% blame our server. I think the kitchen was partly to blame. 3out of 4 entrees arrived after a very long wait from the initial serving. 2 were cold - both scallops. The squash was mushy and cold. It took 20-30 minutes for the 4th entree by which time the others had finished.
This is a very expensive restaurant. I would have expected much more. I will only come here if I’m comped my the casino. Not worth paying for.
Worst ever - do not go!!!! Food cold,Steak well done when ordered medium, service was rude. This place do not come close to a fine restaurant. They need to go out of business
Service was terrible at first. Waitress took drink order, then appetizer order. We got appetizers before the wine was served. Then waited 15min after we ate apps to put in dinner order. My prime rib was over cooked and cold. My hubby’s steak over cooked and cold. The side dishes were for 2ppl instead of family portions that they used to serve. Our kids dishes were Luke warm but everyone was hungry so we ate. They seemed short on staff and steak portions much smaller than normal. Bill was over $700 and we’d rather eat at Gordon Ramsey’s which has excellent portions and service.
I had a good time at prime rib. The food was really good and I had a chance to try the waygu on the lava rock. The hostess was not as receptive as I expected and her personality was a little cold.
Overall everything was great however due to some kitchen issues the menu was limited and we were not made aware of this upon checking in with the Hostess.
There was some kind of problem in the kitchen and half the menu was unavailable, including some appetizers and desserts. In fairness, they told us this as we arrived and in retrospect we should have turned away at that point. They did have a veal chop available that was very good. Unfortunately, I chose a filet which was overcooked for medium and dry. The lack of mushrooms to accompany it did not help.
I was disappointed that kitchen was having problems and only a limited menu was available. The medium well prime rib was over cooked and the medium well filet migon was under cooked. I used my birthday voucher, however, if I was paying with my I not have been a happy camper. Any time a meal costs $140.00 I expect perfection.
Nice place. Food was good, but not worth the price. Better value elsewhere, but you're paying for the location.
Service from Richard was outstanding. The food as always was very good and a reasonable value for an upscale steak house. Atmosphere was excellent, seating very comfortable.
The food was great. My baked potato wasn’t hot was my only concern.
The food and service were AMAZING!!!! James did a great job!!
Richard our waiter was amazing!!! The au gratin potatoes were too salty and the creamed spinach needed a little salt or more Parmesan cheese.
Prompt, professional, welcoming, no complaints. Server James outstanding making dinner a totally enjoyable experience.
Meal was great the service was exceptional. Would definitely return and refer to friends and family.
The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the surprise birthday dessert was thoughtful.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I loved that you could faintly hear a piano playing and not be overbearing. Our waiter was quick to serve and check on us, but not intrusive.
I expected the entire menu to be expensive and it exceeded my expectations. We arrived early and decided to forego our 8:45pm reservations and sat in the bar/lounge area. Our server Dante, was fabulous ! Portions were average size. Prime rib was tasty, but not WOW tasty. Nothing fancy with the shrimp cocktail, 5 shrimp.... $18 ! Potatoes au gratin were super delicious and worth the $10. I'd recommend a friend to go for the potatoes au gratin and the yummy Malbec.
Our waiter Scott was more than excellent along with the food and service!!! Amazing time!!!
