   Again for a second time on our trip it was great. They were closing for 3 weeks although due to the covid 19 virus. So dont go anytime soon. Live music and great food.

   A wonderful with my family. The service and live music was perfect. The random selection from the menu was really nice to have. All of our food was wonderful. The steamed clams were amazing a must get.

   Second dinner at Preserve. On this night we got our drink order before our food. Hurray! The house-made focaccia was decent, not special. We both had the Mahi Mahi fish which was cooked well but the sauce was cloying - thick and with an odd flavor. Parsnips were ok - a bit al dente, with a flavorless sauce underneath. Service was better but everything seems to involve extra steps and take a long time. Staff seems willing but are not trained well. Entertainment was enjoyable (trio and hula dancing). The atmosphere would be improved with dimmer lighting.

   Only “nicer” spot in Hana. You pay the heavy tourist tax. It’s fine. Mahalo

   First of 3 dinners at Preserve while we stayed at the Travaasa Hana hotel. This is a tough review to write because the staff are very friendly and doing their best. But service was uneven. We ordered enters and 2 glasses of wine. The food was delivered promptly, not by our server, and the person disappeared quickly, giving us no time to ask when our drinks would arrive. We were almost done eating before we saw any staff member again, and asked our server for our wine. His response was “I asked to to bring it.” He then retrieved our drinks. Nothing about this exchange was professional. The food was ok. With a limited menu we expect everything to be well thought out and delicious. The fish of the day was good, although it only came with some veggie strings on top. The bao chicken was good, but the parsley rice was nothing special. Given the remote location of the resort, we left wondering what our dinners for the next 2 nights would be like. The answer - uneven food & service, again.

   No ambiance in restaurant - it was totally disjointed, like it was opening night. Very limited menu selection - however, when we finally got food, it was very good and when a waiter stopped by, they were very friendly. We do not recommend this restaurant at all.

    Gorgeous setting in remote Hana, Maui. The burger & chicken bao buns were excellent and the wait staff was friendly and very accommodating.
