   The food we had was very good , both had fish & chips . There was a good atmosphere for a late lunch , 2.30 . Was happy to pay the slightly higher prices for the excellent food and atmosphere .

   Really impressive food and great value for the quality. The staff were all excellent, very attentive and friendly. We would definitely visit again and would highly recommend!

   My first visit and it lived up to my expectations. The food was excellent and the service couldn’t have been better. Would highly recommend you book early. I will definitely be back.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious, our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and there is a wide choice of dishes. Would return if we go back to the area.

   We had a truly wonderful lunch at The Potted Lobster. From start to finish, everything about the meal was exceptional. We decided to go all-in with seafood, and it was absolutely the right choice. To start, we shared some fresh oysters – beautifully presented and brimming with flavour, they set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, My wife chose linguine and I chose the sole, which was cooked to absolute perfection. It was delicate, buttery, and seasoned just right – every bite was a real treat. For dessert, we shared a crème brûlée, which was faultless. The caramelised top had just the right crispness, giving way to a silky, rich custard beneath. It was the perfect end to the meal: indulgent without being overly heavy. The service throughout was excellent – attentive and friendly without being intrusive. There were no long waits between courses, but equally, we never felt rushed. It was clear the staff cared about creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Altogether, The Potted Lobster gave us a meal to remember. Delicious food, superb service, and a lovely pace to the afternoon , we can’t wait to return.

   Fantastic food, we had the seafood platter which I would highly recommend. The staff were great and we really enjoyed the laid back ambience. Already planning our next visit.

   Wow, we’ve waited for a while to get into this establishment as we are visitors to the area, but it was worth the wait. The service and food were excellent and I am struggling to find a fault. Both our meals surpassed our expectations and left us wanting more, to the extent that we booked straight back in for this evening. Best meal we’ve had in the area and we’ve been visiting for at least 20 years. Special thanks to the staff who sorted our booking as I made the mistake of booking the wrong time originally. This place is a must for all food lovers. Thanks
