   Great seafood and service. Ordered two plateaux de fruits de mer for a party of 4. Great sides served with the seafood. Very attentive staff. Highly recommended.

   Excellent food and service, always has a great atmosphere and all the staff are so friendly and understanding .we definitely recommend 😁👍

   The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Sadly the food did not meet our expectations. The Seabass with peas, pancetta & chicken stock was disappointing. The Seabass was cooked well but the flavour of the vegetables overpowered the fish. A poor pairing. The steak costing £38 was tasty but very chewy. It was tough to cut and subsequently difficult to eat. At this price it should perfection. At the end of meal we raised our concerns and was thanked for giving feedback. We were not given an apology or any adjust to the bill. We have been many times to”The Potted Lobster “ and recommended to friends but sadly due to our experience today we will not return.

   Have been to the Lobster Pot a number of times and it never fails to be excellent

   We have wanted to come for 5 years and eventually got around to it for our wedding anniversary and it was great. Generous portions and a wonderful array of starter and main course specials. Need to book in advance especially for popular times of the day. All the waiting staff are excellent We will not wait so long in future to enjoy this wonderful place.

   Well recommended. Perfect spot to eat but you need to book! Service was excellent. Every member of staff was friendly and pleasant. Food was excellent. Beautiful haddock. Lobster is lobster to me. Expensive and over rated but so much more choice on the menu. We will definitely visit again. Thank you The Potted Lobster!

   Fantastic seafood restaurant. All staff were excellent and the menu and specials board offered lots of options. I had advised the restaurant on booking that it was my Mum's birthday and they wished her a Happy Birthday on arriving and the dessert she ordered came with "Happy Birthday" piped on to the plate which was a lovely touch. Everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Thank you to all for a lovely afternoon

    Great seafood restaurant in the pretty town of historic Bamburgh with lovely staff, excellent cookery & lots of choice on the menu. I had halibut which was delicious & would definitely recommend a must visit x
