   Absolutely stunning location and food was amazing, 1st at this lovely restaurant and I can definitely say it won’t be our last can’t wait to go back and try something different, staff were very friendly and really helpful 5stars from us.

   Lovely food and service. The fish was all cooked perfectly, with reasonably sized portions. Staff were very attentive! Only negative was two large groups (one male and one female) who were very vocal but friendly. We were offered a table in the adjacent room but we decided to stay where were were. It didn't spoil the evening - better to have a lively restaurant than a quiet one and the staff did their utmost to make sure we had a lovely evening!

   Really excellent fish restaurant - plenty of different interesting fish dishes and ours was beautifully cooked. Wish we had a restaurant like this in the Cotswolds!! The staff were lovely and friendly and the restaurant is nicely designed and very clean. Would highly recommend if you are in the area

   Not the standard expected. The food was dissapointing given the reputation of the place. The fish n chips were the biggest let down given the hype over how good they are meant to be. The sister restaurant The Whittling House was far superior and I would reccomend going there

   When we arrived we were put into the non dog area,but it was very loud and raucous,so we asked if we could move to a quieter area and this was achieved with no fuss or delay.The staff werevery pleasant and helpful and the food was just beautiful! Overall an excellent venue and well worth the money.

   My wife and I dined at the Potted Lobster, Bamburgh on12 May 2025. Our starter was potted lobster and we then had main courses of mussels and halibut. All the dishes were superbly prepared and tasted delicious. The service was excellent too. We’ve eaten here many times before and we’ve already booked our next visit.

    Great seafood and service. Ordered two plateaux de fruits de mer for a party of 4. Great sides served with the seafood. Very attentive staff. Highly recommended.
