Fantastic meal, lovely restaurant , great service and amazing meal, we had the seafood platter one of the best meals we have ever had, totally recommend!

We’ve visited the Potted Lobster while on holiday over the last 3 years. On each occasion the food has been Excellent. Also an added bonus is that you can dine in the bar area with your dog and still enjoy the same comprehensive menu as the dinners in the other half of the restaurant.

Great choice of daily starters & mains as well as the general menu. Our choice was the dressed crab salad with chips. The salad was lovely & fresh with nice crunchy chips & plenty of crab. Our other choice was cod & chorizo with seasonal veg & dauphinoise potatoes, which was totally delicious. Portions were huge.

Amazing place with great staff. The specials board was exceptional. All the food was beautifully cooked and served. Choice and quality of fish and seafood was the best we have ever had. Really great staff as well.

Absolutely loved it! the waitress was super friendly and helpful. It was my first time at attempting lobster and she explained how to go about it. I asked for the best wine to compliment it and she brought me a sample to taste prior to ordering. My hubby had the haddock and chips, it was beautiful and fresh, so white and juicy. My lobster was delicious and the salad, chips and sauce were perfect, I couldn’t decide which sauce so the waitress gave me the Thermidor sauce on the side to try. This restaurant has been on my ‘bucket list’ for years and I’ve finally done, it did not disappoint and we will definitely return.

Well worth a visit , food was fabulous , king prawn starter and seafood linguine , but next time would try the fish and chips which looked amazing, batter on fish looked crispy and delicious. We will be back . Staff very friendly too and nice busy atmosphere.
