   Pleasant evening in a nice gastropub for our wedding anniversary. Food was really good, though the vegetarian selection wasn't as good as the website implied. Service friendly, though a little stretched. Cocktails good. Everything enjoyable but slightly overpriced.

   Decent meal for money spent; attentive service; very nice seating area on terrace- partly glazed, so undercover but " outside". Toilets clean and pleasant.

   Run out of a lot of things . Didn’t anticipate a hot summer day and ran out of salads and sticky toffee

   We arrived at The Plough to be told our reservation should not have been accepted by OpenTable as they were full, but the staff were charming and made up a table for us that suited our needs perfectly. We all enjoyed Sunday lunch and would very much recommend it. Special commendation for the concept of 'mini-dessert-plus-hot-drink'.

   Great service and lovely food pleasant surroundings, especially in the summer when you can sit outside by the river.

   When we turned up, the restaurant did not know about the reservation made via OpenTable - "the booking does not exits in their system" - this can happen, but most annoyingly the staff did not care - tried to give us a random table in the corner with an attitude "take it or leave it". This spoiled the event, really. I will think twice before using the OpenTable-The Plough combination again. Food is good and we enjoyed it (especially scallops).

   I went twice within 30 days for the Saturday night special-Prime Rib. It was the best Prime Rib that I have had in years. The Chef came out to the table-a great personal touch. The salads are large enough to share and are delicious. The Chef sources his food from a locally owned family farm.

    Very nice pub in attractive village with waterfront setting. Contemporary decor with comfortable seating and not too noisy. Imaginative menu with excellent service. A nice touch was to bring my daughter a drink on the house for her birthday. The food was elegantly presented and looked amazing, although some portions of dessert were slightly small. The peanut butter bombe was one of the best puddings I have ever tasted. Well above the usual pub food fare. highly recommended.
