   Location is historically interesting and unique. Food was well presented and delicious. Staff was kind and attentive. I love the place.

   We were seated about 15 min. after our reservation. I had made a request for a certain area in the reservation, but it was not honored. We were seated in a less desirable area by a hostess who didn't seem to care about anyone but herself. Our waiter was very good. My husband loved his fish lunch, and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I had to send it back because it was cold. The second one came out hot, but instead of the sauce being fruity as described on the menu, it was quite spicy and not fruity at all. I didn't really enjoy it. Previous visits have been MUCH different and MUCH better than this one.

   A perfect evening! Firstly the open air patio was beautiful and we were seated in the small gazebo overlooking the gardens behind the building. The fried brie appetizer was so delicious we went back a second day during our week in Kauai. The waitress was calm and smiling and helped with our selections. The food was well prepared, the fish delicious and we had the 'responsible dessert' she recommended after a full meal, 3 flavors of sorbet. the atmosphere was perfect as the sun set. I would not recommend a TUE or THUR when there is a luau in the building on the property - the drums never stop. Our second visit we were in the side patio away from that sound so it was a good option and another great view.

   The grounds had a stunning view. Food was delicious. The poke on the appetizer menu and the goat cheesecake were both amazing! Service was great, our server was prompt and very friendly.

   Each of the service staff were conscientious and professional with individualized interactions for each party. I was seated in a lovely spot with a great view and watched the sunset while listening to the luau drums. People watching here is always fantastic, but especially with the luau guests being escorted across the plantation by a guide with a flaming sword leading the way! Yummy & Fun :-)

   Excellent ontime service and fabulous food/atmosphere. Only disappointment was the bread/oil we are used to enjoying was unavailable as the chef didn’t make any for no reason given. It’s so delicious and enjoyable while waiting for meal. So glad filet was back although costly. Highly recommend for a lovely evening.

   Great ambiance. The house makes you feel like you are at home. Service was very good. Our steak was overdone and they apologetically took it back and gave a perfect replacement with a free dessert. Will definitely go back.

    One of our favs restaurant on Kauai. Yes its a bit traditional-The lanai/ courtyard location is lovely and service impeccable. Excellent wine selection. Kiawe smoked prime rib-was delish. Followed our servers (Jeff) recommendation to add scallops to Filet. Perfect!
