EVERYTHING WE DO HERE IS FRESH AND ORIGINAL I can still remember the aroma of my Gram’s marinara simmering to perfection as if it were yesterday. My mother stood alongside my Gram preparing a feast for Sunday Supper. The house filled with family and good ol’ home cooking. Braciole, Ravioli’s, fresh baked bread, the house smelled nothing short of amazing. Sunday Supper rests strong in my fondest memories. That’s how it was growing up in Boston in a big Italian family. My family never failed to include me in the preparation, little did I know that these recipes and this passion would lead me where I am today. The Place is my Ode to my Family, a labor of love. After many years of saving, planning, perfecting my dough and building, The Place came to life. Some recipes are inherited from family, others stem from my passion for the craft. One thing is for sure, everything we do here is fresh and original.

Love this place. Excellent food. Great little Italy vibe. Live music, excellent cocktails and the food delicious. Chicken Parm, risotto are so good. Lasagne is comb if you arrive early enough.

The food was outstanding. Service was great. I tell people going to ‘The Place’ is like going to your Italian grandmother’s house for dinner. The only negative was that we had to stand at the entrance for 15 minutes before our table was ready. We did have a reservation.

The Place is extremely popular. Food is really good and the server was great. However, even with a reservation, we had to wait over 20 minutes for a seat. I definitely don't recommend trying to come without a reservation on a Friday. The noise level was extremely loud, and it was difficult to hear the staff speaking to us. There was someone playing music/singing. He was good, but we could only hear him while we were standing at the front, waiting for our table, because of the noise level in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the restaurant, but I might try coming mid-week next time.

The food was great. The butcher paper table covering was different. It was so noisy I’m not sure I can go back. I was hoping on a Wednesday it might not be so bad. WRONG!! Great place and as long as they’re making a lot of money it won’t change.

Been here several times and each time getting less enjoyable. Not sure whether to return. Just too many misses. Seated 25 minutes after reservation time, super loud where you can't hear, food server was nice but had to yell and repeat the dishes (because it's loud), only had 2 menus for the five of us, food seemed to take a bit longer to arrive, food tasted just okay and one of the pizzas was cold. We weren't checked on for quite a while therefore no water refill, and wasn't offered parmesan cheese until we asked and after into eating our meals. Table clearing was half way and may have forgotten to come back for the rest of the plates. Maybe our server was overworked or an off day but there's nothing enjoyable having dinner in a super loud restaurant that doesn't seem to care about their patrons and service times. Too many disappointed faces I noticed around the restaurant. Lots of places in Roseville to dine elsewhere.

The calzone I got was rather big and the sausage in it was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend didn't really care for the raviolis. Pretty cheap for an expensive Italian restaurant with the paper cloths on the tables. Also the bread being way too small for one table.

Service and food is always exceptional. The garlic “Hot Bath” is a great starter along with their fabulous homemade bread. The lemon rocket salad is light and delicious. The gnocchi is fantastic! Best I’ve had in years. My number one favorite is still the lasagna. Eat in early Friday and Saturday to get some though. They sell out fast!

Crazy noisy place on a Friday night. Food was OK, manicotti not thoroughly cooked (pasta still hard); chicken piccata watery. Wait staff was excellent.
