The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

We were celebrating my mother in law's birthday, so we booked this restaurant. The evening was going well until we sat down, we were sitting there for at least 10 minutes before being recognized or approached by our server. He was very attentive to the other tables around us but not so much to our table. I can't give you a name because he never greeted us with his name, however he was African American as were we, he was tall and well spoken with a low haircut but for some reason he seemed annoyed when it came to our table. We had a party of six including two seniors so it threw us off by his non chalante attitude towards our table. Anyways the ambiance and food were good but the service was definitely sub par. Again, he never introduced himself so I can't give his name but he definitely needs to reconsider his career choice. He's fortunate that my wife decided to pay the bill because if it were up to me I would've given him exactly what he deserves, $0! DO BETTER SIR, whatever your name is.

It was a great experience - good food, great service, historic buildings - unfortunately we were seated in the Captains Room which was over-air conditioned to the point that our entire party complained. Walking through the other rooms in the historic structure was quite comfortable. We asked our server if it could be adjusted not to blow so hard in that room but was told it was subject to the management's discretion. 5 star review if you are seated in a room where the temperature can be regulated.

whenever you have a theme restaurant like Pirates house you would question whether the food is good. The food is outstanding. The fried chicken is special and clinical drinks were solid. Definitely for me a five star.

Don’t know why they allowed an 8:30 reservation and then berated us for booking such a late dinner. Rushing us out and very rude. We were practically rushed out of there in 30 min.

Lots of places to dine in these funky old buildings cobbled together over time. Food was very good. We had the ahi tuna and pecan covered chicken. Generous portions.

Service was great, food came out very quickly. Shrimp was good with plenty to eat. Chicken was just ok. Got a couple drinks. Peach martini was not good. Too much peach, had kind of a syrupy taste.
