The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

From the OpenTable editors: A Seattle favorite since 1981, this Pike Place Market restaurant is where owner Jackie Roberts wholly embraces her Italian American heritage.     I really wanted to love this place, especially given all the hype. The atmosphere is undeniably unique and inviting, but the food fell short. The bruschetta, unfortunately, was underwhelming—just a plain slice of tomato perched on overly oily, dry bread, with little flavor to speak of. The pasta tasted fine, but the portion was disappointingly small for the price, and it didn’t include any sides. Overall, I expected much more. It ended up being a huge letdown.

    Birthday dinner for my wife. Food was exceptional, service was fantastic and the vibe and drinks were great too. Definitely will be going back.

    Good place with Italian food and great service. I liked the indoor decor and patio view. Very noisy. Also had a live music inside. Portions are small to medium. Prices are $$$. The food was good, but I had higher expectations.

    A fantastic, fun, eye candy restaurant that offers outstanding service and fabulous food! The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering food choices. We enjoyed a late lunch and had an engaging server who was attentive and joked around with us. She took the time to explain the specials and meal choices. I thought The Pink Door was absolutely fabulous!

    I’ve heard rave reviews about this restaurant for years and finally snagged a lunch reservation. The food was excellent as was each of the ingredients that were clearly selected from a nearby farm. The prices aren’t cheap, but based on the taste and quality it was well worth it! I was also impressed with the service which was friendly and attentive.
