The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

    We met friends whom we had not seen for a long time. The noise level was such that we could not hear one another. The food was okay, but nothing special. Our server was outstanding and attentive.

    Food was delicious, but the portion was quite small for a price. I am a small eater and the linguini volgole was still small for my small stomach. They gave us enough clams, but the spaghetti noodles were literally a size for a child. I was still hungry after eating this pasta. So I ordered desserts, and dessert was too large. Tiramisu was huge and gelato came out in a big bowl with some cream and a cookie and tasted mediocre. Food is better than dessert here. The only thing is I think it should be the opposite; more noodles for vongole and smaller dessert. Also, the sauce was a bit salty. Ciopinno was very delicious. Service was great, ambience was great. I will probably visit one more time to try other food.

    This is our favorite restaurant in Seattle. Ordinarily, the food is without a doubt the best Italian in town in our opinion. Unfortunately, the food was very oily all the way around from the Calamari to the Caesar and the Clam ala Vongole. The service was outstanding as usual. Still our favorite place to go. We'll just ask them to lighten up on the oil next time.

    Went for lunch. Did make reservations. Waited less than 5 minutes for seating. Had an open face tuna sandwich which was excellent. Service was great.
