The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

From the OpenTable editors: A Seattle favorite since 1981, this Pike Place Market restaurant is where owner Jackie Roberts wholly embraces her Italian American heritage. Think seasonal vegetables dipped in bagna cauda, fettuccine with braised wild boar, and negroni sbagliatos all served in an airy, rustic dining room decked out with white tablecloths and chandeliers.     We sat outside and had a great time! The food was amazing as always, and the service was lovely. We had a baby with us and they were very accommodating.

    This is the third time we've been to The Pink Door and as usual, it didn't disappoint. Well, it did in that the Arancini was missing from the menu, but meal and drinks more than made up for it. We'll for sure be back the next time we're in town.

    The pink door was hard to find. The front door is off the alley and not marked well. The food, service and ambiance however were very good. We made a 5:30 pm reservation that we could not keep and they were kind enough to hold our table until 6pm.

    Great food, but maybe a bit overrated. The service was ok. Lots of waiting, starting with the line to check in for our 6:45pm reservation. The website says they have a dress code (abnormal for Seattle): "You have a better chance of getting in if you don't look like a tourist from a cruise ship"... but many guests were in shorts and t-shirts, so I found that to be misleading. I'd probably go back for the food if I'm in the area and the waitlist isn't long, but not a place I'd plan any trips around.

    Great dinner at the Pink Door. Excellent food and service. The trapeze act was a real bonus. Should not miss the Pink Door when in Seattle.

    The service was the best I've had in a restaurant in many years! Kathryn designed a beautiful meal from the descriptions I gave her of what I enjoy. From the cocktail, appetizer, entree, wine and dessert, she designed a meal that is memorable and ensures I will return again!

    Food was delicious. They were super accommodating with adjusting serving sizes and adding sauces on the sides for things. We were lucky enough to get a patio seat too. Weather was perfect and it was a lovely view.
