The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

From the OpenTable editors: A Seattle favorite since 1981, this Pike Place Market restaurant is where owner Jackie Roberts wholly embraces her Italian American heritage. Think seasonal vegetables dipped in bagna cauda, fettuccine with braised wild boar, and negroni sbagliatos all served in an airy, rustic dining room decked out with white tablecloths and chandeliers.     I had the pleasure of dining at The Pink Door and I can confidently say it was one of the best Italian meals I've had. From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff set the tone for a great time for us. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with what tasted like fresh, high-quality ingredients. Truly loved the experience.

    Olga was awesome! The ambiance was unbeatable! The lemon raspberry pistachio tart was delish. My meal made me feel like I was getting a warm hug from someone I love! Thank you!

    Overall, this place seems highly overrated. The food was ok-a little bland. The service was excellent, and the bar tender was excellent. It would be nice to have the name of the restaurant on the door. As a person not from the area, finding it was a challenge, and we did not feel comfortable just opening an unmarked door.

    The pink door lives up the the hype. So glad we saved our appetite while walking through the market, it was definitely worth it. Everything we had was amazing. Definitely make sure you make a reservation in advance!

    As usual, we enjoyed our experience at The Pink Door recently. The dining room was a great venue to have our lunch, with expansive windows and views of Puget Sound. Looking forward to being able to sit on the patio later this summer when it is warmer. The food was excellent, as was the service. I’m looking forward to coming back this summer when I can have the heirloom tomato salad. Yummy! My only concern today was that the dining room and entire restaurant was packed and it was hard to hear my friends across the table.

    I had the most beautiful dining experience, thanks entirely to my server, Jeannie S.—she was an absolute delight! The Ahi Tuna Crudo was mind-blowing, and the prawns I added to my Everything Green Salad were the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Be sure to request Jeannie’s section for an even more extraordinary experience!

    This restaurant was charming & outstanding. Service & food. We had a lovely waiter, sorry but we didn’t catch his name. The food was delicious & the seafood was so fresh, thank you Chef. We recommend the Linguine with vongole and the Lavendar panna cotta !! We loved it. Travellers from Australia
