The Pink Cabana is an ingredient driven restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine with a Moroccan influence. Chef Jason Niederkorn has received world renowned accolades from Condé Nast Traveler, LA Times and Forbes, amongst others.

The Pink Cabana also specializes in elevated libations. Featuring unique wines from Mediterranean climates designed to pair with all of our culinary offerings. We also feature a variety of complex seasonal cocktails influenced by the Great Spice Route. With a wide range of specialty aperitifs and digestifs, the Pink Cabana is a highly curated wine and spirit destination.

Designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, the Pink Cabana is designed to be a fresh modern take on the great Tennis and Racquet Clubs of the 50’s and 60’s in Palm Springs.

We have dined at Pink Cabana at least 6 times. Lovely decor and setting. However, for me their menu is limited. Two steaks, duck, chicken and salmon are my recollection. These are items I do not order when dining out - which we do frequently. Was looking for a fresh fish or shellfish or even a specialty pasta.

Prices are pretty steep and limited menu. Tough sell in the future

Thank you for the notes and kind words on setting! we have more than twice those amount of entrees, with our seasonal tagliatelle pasta daily and always at least 2 fresh fish options. They get sent to us the same day they are caught/out of water and they are always delicious! Don't hesitate to reach out next time you want to stop by and id love to point them out to you and show you some of my favorite dishes!

From the bar to the restaurant we had a delightful experience. Service was spot on! We had the beet salad, salmon and chicken which were each exceptional. The server recommended a delightful red wine which was affordable too.

Such a beautiful fun atmosphere with incredible food and wonderful service! The manager offered to show us around the gorgeous property. The decor is incredible and worth seeing on its own.

From the moment we sat down we were let down. The waiter G was so over it and had no interest in giving us a great experience. The prix fix food was terrible. A microwaved amuse bouche, a confused sweet shredded jicama blue cheese salad, a flavourless gritty lobster soup, rubbery short ribs. Managed to cook scallops properly. When I asked what the dessert was the waiter said “finger food” and when I asked him to elaborate he explained that you “eat it with your fingers” and when pressed he finally just said “pastry”. The Pink Cabana just dialed this one in for an exorbitant per person price of $110 each. We skipped the dessert and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I would say that the welcome rose Prosecco was a nice feature but for the price it was the least they could do. This place is clearly only for drinks (good martini) and ambiance, which looks-wise it’s beautiful because they do not have any food game. Plus we were overcharged for a glass of wine.

Amazing food, great service - especially the host (Paula) and our server (Sara) made the evening work. The chef knows what he/she is doing. You can mess up a steak frites easy, but he/she nailed it. As with all the other courses. Well done and a definite go-to in Palm Desert.

So very disappointed as I truly wanted to love this restaurant. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lovely. Moroccan themed; pool view ; outdoor tables and a vibrant dining room in pinks and greens.
Menu is very limited and many of the dishes sound interesting but it might be best to have your server OFFER to explain some of the more unknown ingredients/herbs etc. Usually this would raise an excitement level rather than being told within two minutes of being seated that they are out of salmon.
Okay, however, if well trained, a server should immediately give options.

No specials. Server wore clean baseball hat the entire lunch and we were seated indoors.

Chicken Sandwich had to be returned to the kitchen since the portion was still translucent which translates to being undercooked.

Never offered coffee after our meal or a dessert menu.

This is just sad as they have an extraordinarily beautiful dining area. But no matter how beautiful, if the food and service is not great, people do not return. I regret having to leave a negative review but being honest.

Arrived early for reservation, multiple open tables. Food service took hour and half. Spoke with them after paying. Their excuse was understaffing and there were a lot of people showing up without reservations. Ok... so who gets priority??? A reasonable person would say those with a reservation. Capisce?

I am so sorry you felt you weren't prioritized! i told the host i was happy to get you all seated earlier than your reservation when you arrived, but that i had just sat quite a few tables and it would take a little bit longer for all to get going as a result. the host said that was fine. i sent you all over some bread as everyone seemed so lovely! i fear i was unclear and apologize. almost everyone that night had reservations, we usually seat others at the bar.

Food was great. There was a big group and it seemed to throw the staff for a loop. Service was fairly slow, but friendly. Had to hunt down the valet staff to get our car.

Good location and pretty nice venue but didn’t like our server saying we should hurry up and order because they had a lot of reservations coming in and the kitchen was going to get backed up (btw it never did fill up and didn’t seem that busy). The food was very tasty, my husband and I split the beer salad and lamb shank. The portions were ample to split but sadly the beet salad had very few beets and our lamb shank was lukewarm despite being served in a tagine. For the price point I expected a bit more but would likely go back again another time to give them a second xhance😉

The service and atmosphere were great. The desserts were really good, if I had anything negative to say is that the menu is very limited. The food was good. It is definitely worth a visit, if nothing else for cocktails because is it really nicely remodeled. There are outdoor tables over looking the pool deck. It’s a Moroccan theme.

Went with my girlfriends to celebrate my 36th birthday. I made a reservation ahead of time and when we got there they had reserved the booth area. I was so excited and the best part was the service and the food. After we took a bunch of picts in the lobby and the gentleman working that night was happy to take our pict. It was a perfect way to celebrate. I might have to come celebrate my wedding anniversary with the hubby and book a room. Thank you for a 1st time wonderful experience!

Cool vibe, music just right, not too loud for conversation. Food was excellent. We shared a steak cooked perfectly medium rare with a side of mushrooms and started with a jumbo prawn cocktail with a nice cocktail sauce/horseradish. Topped it off with an apple/cranberry crostada with ice cream. Crostada had a light, fluffy crust served warm. All very tasty, reasonably priced.

I had the opportunity to dine with the team at Pink Cabana several times over our stay at Sands Hotel and Spa. The restaurant is a design dream with hues of pinks, golds and greens. The Mediterranean vibe is complimented by an outstanding menu, the craftiest cocktails (try the hot to trot!) and a staff that is ultra accommodating. I turned 30 with my family + the staff made my day a true dream with a complimentary champagne toast and attending to my every need.

I am already counting down to our next visit!
