A full stock-list of our fantastic takeaway beer. Our fridges are full of brand new stock consisting of wonderful craft beers from the UK and further afield. And of course Anspach & Hobday!
Dominant impressions of latte coffee with powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The alcohol esters are enveloped with hints of autumn wood, citrus zest (orange, lemon) and freshly baked biscuits. The initial taste is sweetly sinful. Beer and chocolate trapped into one single glass, a liquid milky draught with a backbone of bitter malt. The alcohol warms the throat and, in the finish, you will pick up traces of cloves, citrus, orange and mocha. The heaviest of the Rochefort beers, the 10 is a quadrupel style beer and can be recognized by its blue label
Rochefort 6 (red cap, brown beer, 7.5% ABV). Reddish colour, brewed only about once per year, representing approximately 1% of total beer production. This beer begins with a density of 16.5º Plato is 7.5% ABV. "Rochefort 6" is the oldest Rochefort Trappist beer, and was brewed empirically until the end of the Second World War. Until 1958, this was the only Rochefort beer that was bottled in both 33 cc bottles and 75 cc bottles. It has a strong malt taste and is slightly bitter

A classic too style ale. Lightly Spiced with a smooth malt with black pepper highlights. Slight trace of phenols. Subtle pear like fruitiness. Soft body with a bisquity malt flavor
With deep black color, a thick, creamy head, rich chocolate, toffee and coffee flavors, and full-bodied smoothness, Anchor Porter® is the epitome of a handcrafted dark beer. A blend of specially roasted pale, caramel, chocolate, and black malts, along with our top-fermenting yeast, creates complexity without bitterness. The brew is hopped at a high rate, and naturally carbonated. The result is dark in the glass, but surprisingly light on the palate. Anchor Porter® became the first modern American porter when it was introduced in 1972. As we celebrate its 40th anniversary, our porter continues to reward those who look beyond its intimidating appearance to discover its smooth, full-bodied drinkability. Anchor Porter® is the definitive American Porter
Our new Cream Ale recipe. Drawing inspiration from our original brew, this smooth Pale/Lager hybrid brewed with Loral hops, corn & oats, is the perfect session beer for those who want something a little different
Still very much a bitter, this beer shifts the focus slightly towards hops rather than malt in this otherwise classic style. Bramling Cross and Jester hops bring together the old and the new with aromas of blackcurrant, lychee, and spice adoring a classic bitter malt backbone. A gentle sweetness balances the hop bitterness, resulting in a balanced yet complex beer
A dank sticky dry bitter beautiful citrusy fantastic beer. Lots of American hops but an English heart. Brewed with Summit, Ekuanot and Enigma
Inspired by the Helles lagerbiers of Munich, this is a true London lager. German malt, European malts and London water come together to produce a smooth, crisp and flavourful beer. In the spirit of Das Reinheistgebot, we use the spunding method to carbonate our lager naturally, while an extended cold storage in horizontal lager tanks gives our beer time to condition and mature. As all true lagers must. The inspiration behind the artwork comes from our move to our new brewery in Croydon. It is located very close to Croydon Airport, the UK's only International airport between the wares. It was also where the legendary pilot Amy Johnson took off to become the first woman to fly solo from England to Australia in 1930
Brewed in collaboration with our good friends Affinity Brew Co, The Lemons & The Limes draws inspiration from our Bermondsey neighbours zested saison, Breeze. We took a classic German style Hefeweizen and infused it with lemon and lime zest during the whirlpool. The bright citrus notes lift the wheat beer, keeping it light, fresh, and incredibly drinkable
A tradition cask bitter at 3.7% Smooth and malt forward
Light, bright & fruity, The Pale Ale is the ultimate drinking beer. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe
The brewers' answer to the Bellini, The Peach Sour is a modern take on traditional Berliner Weisse style sour beers. A simple kettle soured base beer is blended with peach puree resulting in aromas of ripe, fleshy peach. On the palate a bright, fresh acidity, balances the soft sweetness of the peach, leading to a clean, fresh finish. Best served chilled and on a summers day. Part of Anspach & Hobday's Fruit Sour Series
The Porter is our flagship beer. The style established Victorian London as the centre of the brewing world. The Porter is also the beer that started us on our journey. Our blend of highly kilned and roasted malts is suited perfectly to our water, producing balanced flavours of rich coffee and dark chocolate. This award-winning Porter represents the true beer style of London. It is one that we are incredibly proud of
Oaked, smokey & aromatic. Light berry aromas. Brewed with Willamette and Bramling Cross
The Sour Dry Hop is the perfect balance of Old and New World brewing. Inspired by the traditional Berliner Weisse, a sour beer once brewed in Berlin and known as the 'Champagne of the North' . Ours is soured by Lactobacillus and dry-hopped with Citra. An unusual style that delivers a tart, citrusy fruitiness
Inspired by the ruinous Double IPAs of the West Coast of America, this beer starts where The IPA left off. Summit and Columbus bring aromas of spice, orange and grapefruit, whilst an Enigma heavy dry hop introduces layers of ripe mango, tropical fruit and red currents. Dank and resinous, a bold malt bill gives body and sweetness, all balanced by a firm hop bitterness. Store cold, drink fresh
Brewed in collaboration with irreverent Kentucky brewers Against the Grain, The Zest of Friends is our latest joint endeavour. This special lager style is inspired by the springtime Lentebocks of the Netherlands. Delicate aromas of zesty lemon and lime lead to a crisp and pithy palate. Coriander seeds add a touch of spice, and generous kettle hopping results in a clean, bitter finish
Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium's most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!
3 Fonteinen Hommage is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries and raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of 760 to 800 grams of raspberries and 200 to 240 grams of sour cherries per litre of lambic. This fruit lambic is then blended again with more lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit. Hommage is a bodied raspberry lambic beer, with an intense deep red forest fruit bouquet. This unfiltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no artificial juices, syrups, or sugars added
For this speciality, we use old and young lambic beer that has aged in our oak casks. When the lambic is 6 months old, we add 25% black cherries. This provokes the second fermentation. We then clarify, filter and bottle it. The cherries and young lambic create a red beer that is both natural and fresh, with an absolutely unforgettable sweet and sour taste. This is kriek as it should be, with nothing but real cherries and lambic. There is no place for artificial colourings or flavourings.
Oud Beersel Oude Kriek is an artisanal product, made from real cherries and Oud Beersel lambic matured in old barrels. They are slowly absorbed into the lambic, which develops a fruity character and a ruby red colour. Oud Beersel Oude Kriek is unique of its type in that it contains around 400 grams of cherries per litre. Oud Beersel Oude Kriek has no added sugar and contains no artificial flavourings or preservatives.
This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is 'ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years', according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.
Westmalle Dubbel is a dark, reddish-brown Trappist beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavour is rich and complex, herby and fruity with a fresh-bitter finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft feel in the mouth and a long, dry aftertaste. The Dubbel contains 7% alcohol.
Was first brewed in 1934 and the recipe has not changed since 1956. It is made with pale candy sugar and has a very pale color produced from a mash of light pilsener malts. Styrian Goldings hops are used along with some German varieties and the classic Saaz pilsener hop. After a long secondary fermentation, the Tripel Westmalle is bottled with a dose of sugar and yeast. This beer holds up well in the bottle over time and seems to soften with age.
It started as a discussion between Stillwater Artisanal and ourselves. A discussion on wine, beer and development. A discussion on fruits, acidity and looking at things another way. It continued through creating a method for refinement, a method for sourcing ingredients, choosing them and blending them. And, a method for aging them. It finished as this bottle, its content and the experience it has given us and will give you upon enjoying it. A multifaceted labour of love that turned into this quaint little package. Parts coming together, almost indistinguishable from each other yet with the individual importance of a piece in a jigsaw puzzle. So, what is this then? Well, this is Hybrid. A beer, wine and fruits blend. The result of bringing entities together to form unity. Puckering sourness, vinous and the sweetly fruity, fusing together through time spent resting on wood. There's something in there for the beer drinker who wants a discussion, for the wine drinker who wants to develop and definitely for those wanting to look at things in another way
If blonds really do have more fun, imagine what they'd say about Vedett Extra Blond?! After all, who can resist her seductive straw colour and pearly-white head? Her smooth, malty character with subtly balanced hops? Or her lingering fruitiness with subtle notes of vanilla? Whatever your weakness, this premium pilsner offers full-bodied, thirst-quenching refreshment from start to finish. With a slightly bitter aftertaste to keep you on your toes
Erdinger Alkoholfrei is a great tasting non-alcoholic wheat beer and the ultimate sports and fitness beverage. Erdinger Alkoholfrei is also the perfect balance of minerals, vitamins and carbohydrates to restore and rehydrate your body after a tough workout or game. Erdinger Alkoholfrei has the distinctive, sparkling flavour of a fresh wheat beer
A potent snakebite of Citra, Mosaic, Warrior, Simcoe, and Columbus hops (more than 2lbs per barrel) gives this beer its citrus-forward superpower. Orange and tropical fruit aromas temper slightly-piney crispness, turning Snake Dog into a more complex breed of West Coast IPA. You'll find Snake Dog bites hardest when paired with peppery cheeses, curries, and mild Thai dishes whose names you can't pronounce properly
A rich blend of honey, lemon, tarragon & hops, with a tantalising salty finish. Like the sea, but also, not

The Quetsche Tilquin à l'ancienne (6.4% alc/vol) is a spontaneous fermentation beer obtained from the fermentation of destoned fresh purple plums in young lambics, blended with 1, 2 and 3 years lambic to reach a final concentration of fruits of 260 gr fruit per liter.

Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don't want you to wait though, crack the cap and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb might just blow you away!
A dank and juicy IPA using Golden Promise, wheat and Cara Munich malts in the mash for a sweetly smooth body. For the hops we judiciously bittered with Magnum in the kettle followed by Citra T90 in both the whirlpool and in dry-hopping. The aroma/flavour is fruit-filled, dank and resinous, with plenty of tropical mango giving a moreish drinkability. Fermented with our house American ale yeast (WLP001) for a refreshingly clean finish, this IPA is also our first gluten-free beer using Brewers Clarex®.
High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste?

In the world of German brewing, Kräusen refers to the intense proliferation of bubbles and foam formed during fermentation of a young or "green" beer. And Aufkräusen (literally to kräusen it up), refers to a historic brewing technique in which some green beer is added to a fully-matured lager. This is a very old and very typically German tradition, and today even English-speaking brewers refer to this technique as krausening. Krausening brings the vibrant freshness of young beer to the more refined, austere flavors of a fully-matured lager. Aecht Schlenkerla Kräusen is an amber-colored, unfiltered lager beer with beautiful malt flavors and a slight smokiness. It matures for months in the deep rock cellars underneath the Schlenkerla brewery and is krausened with Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier just before kegging. Quaffable and with a pleasantly moderate level of alcohol, Aecht Schlenkerla Kräusen is an ideal refreshment for the warmer months
Bamberg's speciality, a dark, bottom fermented smoked beer, brewed with Original Schlenkerla Smokemalt from the Schlenkerla maltings and tapped according to old tradition directly from the gravity-fed oakwood cask in the 14th century brewery tavern
"Schlenkerla Helles" is brewed with fine Bavarian aroma hops from the area around the city of Nürnberg. It's lagered in century old caves underneath the historic Schlenkerla brewery and maltings. Schlenkerla Helles is boiled in the same copper kettles and bottom fermented by the same yeast as the historic Schlenkerla Smokebeer. Its subtle smokiness without using smoke malt makes "Helles Schlenkerla Lager" a unique representative of the classic lager beer style "Bavarian Helles"
You can tell its strength by its colour alone: "Schneider Weisse non-alcoholic" - the slightly darker, isotonic thirst-quencher energizes with 100% wheat beer taste at less than 0, 5% alcohol. That's how a "free" wheat beer should taste like: strong - just like Bavaria
Go on a discovery: "Meine Hopfenweisse" - the incomparable experience of indulgent drinking, that exceeds all expectations … hoppy, but flowery, bitter and full-bodied, and still with a sweet malty aroma - this is how multifaceted wheat beer can actually be. A real delight in the special Schneider way! And when it comes to spicy dishes or refined chocolates the "Hopfenweisse" unleashes no less than a pleasant tremor of the senses
It's the art of brewing in its purest form for true wheat beer connoisseurs: "Original" – the traditional wheat beer brewed unaltered in accordance with the original recipe of Georg I. Schneider since 1872 – and since then simply marquee. Of a deep amber colour, harmonically balanced and strong. That's what Bavaria tastes like. And that's also what coming home tastes like - in the comfort of your own four walls as well as at your convivial "Stammtisch"
As brewers, we get the privilege to sample our beers straight from the tanks in all their raw glory.
