Après des débuts modestes en tant que restaurant temporaire ayant un stand sur un marché fermier, The Pig and the Lady est devenu un véritable restaurant réputé dirigé par le chef cuisinier Andrew Le (aidé de sa famille, notamment de sa mère Mama Le), ayant participé deux fois aux demi-finales du prix James Beard et préparant principalement une cuisine familiale au véritable sens du terme, permettant aux gastronomes de Honolulu de découvrir une cuisine aux influences vietnamiennes à la fois éclectique et créative. Le chef Le et son équipe proposent une cuisine traditionnelle d'Asie du Sud-Est aux influences modernes préparée avec des produits frais de la région. Vous pourrez notamment déguster des plats réputés tels que le banh mi et le pho, ainsi que des spécialités contemporaines. Le est l'un des rares chefs proposant une cuisine moderne aux influences d'Asie du Sud-Est à avoir reçu des critiques dithyrambiques. Cette passion lui a été inculquée par sa mère, dont il conserve le souvenir des délicieux plats qu'elle préparait dans son enfance. Le restaurant est ouvert du lundi au samedi pour le dîner et le souper. Les propriétaires possèdent toujours un stand sur les marchés fermiers de Blaisdell, Kailua et KCC.

The Pig & the Lady always makes me a sinner—commiting the sin of gluttony. The food is so damn good I have no control in that place. And chef Andrew continues to visit thendining room spreading his good vibes. Blaine at the bar is an excellent cocktail and wine guide.

Service was excellent and very accommodating. Food and cocktails were underwhelming and too salty. Especially the pho which tasted more like bouilon water instead of boiled down bones.

Spectacular, energetic, and unique dining experience. The shared meal was delicious and the service was excellent. Reservations are available but advise that you make them well in advance.

The best meal me and my family has had in years. Service was phenomenal and the food was exceptional. I would fly back to Hawaii just to eat here again!

Food was fantastic, attentive servers that don’t hover and know the menu very well! Wish we had booked this place multi times while in Oahu so delicious!

The staff is amazing, and went way above and beyond for our group. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere is unique and I’ve never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended !

Absolutely delicious food ! Had the most delicious Caesar salad was completely different from anything ee had seen before and enough for our party of 5 to share! We shared the hamachi crudo. Finally my entree was the Kona hamachi and others at my table had the PHO 75 dac biet. Everything was fantastic !
