   Decided to suggest something new when visiting family in Bermondsey. Despite the traffic making it longer to arrive than expected everything was fabulous. Parking right outside with a permit from the restaurant. Friendly waiting staff, excellent service. Food very tasty with a good choice and some new choices experienced. Very good value for money too. Pleased with my choice of restaurant and definitely a place to return to.

   Great place for lunch. Good service and food. Always a nice mixed crowd.

   Food delicious as always and ambience good. I was looking forward to the Mediterranean Eggs but they have been replaced by Kimchi eggs. Please co aider bringing it back onto the menu, as Kimchi is not for me.

   The Pear Tree is a fantastic restaurant, one of the best in SE16. The food choices are excellent and fit with most people's requirements. There's usually something there to take my fancy. Food quality is superb and it's all fresh cooked. I just wanted a light brunch on this occasion and had the Granola bowl with yoghurt and fruit etc. so very tasty. I followed it with toast and Jam which was done just right, although I'm not overly keen on Sourdough as it can be very chewy. The service is good. Coffee is excellent too. Only downside is the smell from the grill which can be quite pervasive when you first arrive. Not sure if the ventilation system needs to improve or if it's an issue with the grill itself, but it's not a particularly nice smell (charred/burnt smell).
