   Great restaurant. Loved the food. Our waitress was very friendly. I wish they would have let us know that the burrito was more for two people than one. Everything else was perfect. We will be back.

   Was a nice quick stop for lunch between appointments and running errands. Really casual place, comfy chairs, yummy food and cool spot to chill. GM resolved a misunderstanding with this menu and an item we ordered to make it just right!

   Delicious chilaquiles for brunch. Lots of chicken, very flavorful but not spicy only for the sake of being hot. Beef short ribs were rich and gave off an enticing aroma. Quite large portions, too. Chai hot tea was a tasty option, too. Waitress was patient, explained menu items thoroughly and remembered to bring (or send over) all refills and condiments we asked for. As always, we wished the design included more “sound proofing” in some way because it is somewhat loud when the restaurant is full. We will be back!

   Except for the $50 whole sea bass my 18 year old grandson ordered, the food was a reasonably good value and everything was very good. This was our first time here and we definitely will try it again next time we come to San Diego.

    We had a reservation on the outside patio for a party of 5. There was only 1 server in the restaurant for Monday lunch. It took forever to be served drinks, have our lunch order taken. There was no follow up on how our meals were. We did see other parties get up and leave, clearly tired of waiting. Had we been on a tighter time table would too would have left. This was a management issue not a staff issue, our waitress did her best during a very difficult shift. Not sure why they did not staff better? At one point the host stated there was a large party inside that caused the delays, but I’m sure they too made a reservation so the restaurant would have known ahead of time that service would be impacted by only having 1 waitress and no bartender for the lunch service. We’ve eaten at this location numerous times over the years and this was definitely the worst experience we’ve had!

    The patio (at The Patio) is the perfect place to meet with friends for an enjoyable evening and great food. Conducive to conversation. Never the feeling that we needed to rush. Loved seeing all the pets welcomed!

    We decided on this restaurant because it was “dog friendly”. We even called ahead to make sure we were okay bringing them. Beware because it really isn’t. Nice ambiance, but truly not suitable for dogs. The outdoor space is really cramped. We were told that dogs are not allowed to bark nor sit on your lap so we had to take them back to the car. I would not recommend this restaurant if your dogs are energetic or vocal.

    This was our first time at The Patio on Lamont and were super impressed with everything. We arrived about 15 minutes late due to traffic on a Friday night and the hostess was super polite and professional and got us to our table right away. Its a quaint, cool decor and super fun vibe place with a little bar and inside and outside seating. Our server (I forgot her name) was amazing. Good sense of humor, great conversation, service was impeccable. Now onto the food. We had a few fun cocktails (spicy margarita, yum), the brussel sprouts where hands down the best sprouts we had ever had. Two of us split the Caesar salad and it was fantastic. I had the new york steak and it was absolutely delish! My friend had the half chicken and it was outstanding, the other two had the seafood boil and a burger and both loved it. The food, ambiance, service and overall experience was far and above awesome! Cant wait to come back. Super impressed!

    It was our last evening in San Diego {Pacific Beach} and we could not have chosen a more delicious way to end our stay. We were warmly welcomed and continued to receive impeccable service throughout our evening. Our waitress Ashley was attentive and knowledgeable in answering our questions. We started our meal sharing the chopped salad on the Happy Hour menu putting the salumi on the side since I am vegetarian. The Patio Mule was a great beverage to start with as well. I enjoyed the vegan paella for my main course while my partner had the pork shank with parmesan bacon risotto. Both were delicious with layers of flavor. Do not miss the Twisted Elvis for dessert. Grilled banana bread topped with caramelized bananas, foster sauce and vanilla ice cream is such a creative and oh so delicious way to end a meal. Patio on Lamont is at the top of our dining list for our next visit to Pacific Beach.

    Everyone here was so nice and the restaurant decor and ambiance was so trendy and inviting. I’m a sucker for a living wall and a fireplace. Our food was amazing. We had the charcuterie and cheese board, the Brussel sprouts (which I devoured) and the octopus. I love a restaurant has octopus on the menu! The menu has an inviting variety of options. Literally everything sounded great. We will definitely come back here to try more things!

    I never write negative reviews. Would prefer to elevate the great places. But our latest visit was quite bad. Reservation was for 7 at 12.:00 pm. They started looking around for a table when we arrived. Seated 20 minutes later. All the food was bad. Corned beef hash was half fat. Sent it back. Haven’t done that in years. Replacement hash (beef?, carnitas?) was awful. Kind of gave up. French toast tasted of oil. Scrambled eggs hard as rock. Just a general lack of care and skill in the kitchen. Management asked us if things were ok, seemed to care, but did not offer any adjustment. It was still a poor meal and a bad experience.

    Everything about our brunch was great. We had a quiet corner table on the patio. It was a beautiful day. The good was great. My friend had the veggie omelet and I had the eggs Benedict. Both were done perfectly. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks!

    Bottomless mimosas and delicious food. Perfect brunch spot. The short rib hash is amazing. We also had the Brussels sprouts, Nutella pancakes, and shrimp n grits. Nothing was disappointing. I’m actually looking forward to going back and bringing friends. The atmosphere and service were also top notch. Highly recommend.

    The only constructive comment is that the menu said that the bottle of wine we ordered was 2015, and then the waitress served us a 2016. Opened it etc without even pointing out it was different.

    We went to the Patio for New Years eve and had a very nice dinner. They had some specials for that night and everything was really good. The only thing I would complain about is the prime rib because it didn't come hot, so after a few minutes the food was already cold. Everything else was great, including the service.

    We were given the wrong menus. Upon ordering we were told we couldn’t have those items. Took 45 minutes to get our food, sever was never around and did not refill our waters or coffees. The fish tacos, that they are “known for”, were dry, bland and only had two mini strips of fish. The last time we dined everything was much better so maybe it was just a very off day.
