    Thought this place would be great. Not so much. Steaks were extremely salty, had to send them back. A $450 dinner that should have been half that. Food not worth the price at all.

    Server, John, OUTSTANDING! He was actually our server last March when I was visiting. The Palm will be a consistent stop every time I come to Orlando, And, we'll ask for John to be our server for all future reservations!

    This was an Amazing experience! We were celebrating our 13 years Anniversary and they created a beautiful little card for us. Our server was very kind and informative. The food was delicious the Chefs soup right now is so good!!! My husband and I both had Filets and they were cooked perfectly how we like! The drinks were great as well. They gave us a complimentary dessert! This restaurant is very worth a visit! You will not be disappointed.

    The good news: Amazing lobster bisque and the Chimichuri and cognac peppercorn steak sauces were great. Service was as expected for this type of restaurant. The underwhelming part was the steaks. I loved the heavily salted outside, but the steaks were not anywhere near the quality I expected. There are literally dozens of cheaper or comparably priced alternatives with much better steaks. I may still go back and get seafood if we are staying in nearby Universal hotel.

    Service was fine. Food was mediocre. Definitely overpriced for quality. The steak was fine but all other dishes way overpriced for quality. The wedge salad was odd. Had the typical regular ingredients… I.e.… Bacon, tomatoes iceberg lettuce, but the dressing was extremely watery and then the candied pecans were on it which did not really go with that salad. The lasagna was OK. The Bolognese was extremely dry and not prepared at all the way it should have been. Way overpriced.

    A classic! Will come back many times. Fantastic service. New restaurants should learn how to treat their clients like this one. One of the reasons why this place has existed 100 years and will continue to do for many more.

    Overall, it was pretty and what you would expect from a Palm, food was delicious. Portion sizes were pretty good. Our server was very mediocre. I don’t even remember his name and he seemed just very dis- interested in serving us the entire time….. It was almost like he was annoyed at being a waiter lol. Also, it was extremely hot in the restaurant. Apparently everyone was complaining, but nothing seemed to have been done or compensated for the uncomfortable manner of it all.
