Went for afternoon Tea with both of my daughters. Let me start by saying we are not really tea people, but it was another check off our bucket list. The staff was outstanding. I had the champagne tea, it was great. We went with fruity and citrus teas. My youngest had the hot chocolate, which she loved. The scones and lemon curd were my absolute favorite. The coconut biscuits were a close second. Everything must have been good because we cleared those trays. If we are ever back at the Drake, we will be back for the afternoon tea.

Lovely atmosphere, great service. However the food quality was not what it used to be. For $78/person, I expected better.

We were seated and waited 40 minutes before anyone came to out table. Once that happened everything was great but those first 40 minutes were beyond awkward.

This was the fanciest thing I’ve ever done 💙. The music was relaxing & it was a great escape from the dumpster fire that is our world

The room was beautiful however the food was bland. The teapots were small and the spout clogged easily with tea leaves, resulting in spills around the top of the lid. The harpist played beautifully. The tables were slightly awkward since our knees would bump into the edge repeatedly.

We loved the atmosphere and tea experience however, we were really disappointed in our main waitress Christine. She was not friendly and we felt like we were a burden to her. We did alter our appointment and instead of 2 full tea services we only got one sandwich service with two tea pots so we are not sure if that upset her but she was not kind or friendly and seemed bothered every time she came by and she very quickly handed us our check at 30 minutes when our tea pots were not even half gone and the experience is set to last 90 minutes.
