Fine food, fine service. They have learned well from the parent in NYC. NYC pricing levels too.
The food was just okay but the
Excellent! Food was great. Service was great. And they gave us free chocolate cake for my wife's bday.
Power lunch was excellent.
The service was impeccable. The food was great. The restaurant made my son’s graduation celebration really special for us! They accommodated my younger children’s allergies as well.
Amazing experience - so glad we went there for our son’s special day
I have been wanting to come here for a very long time. Tonight was our very first time coming here. It is almost a 3 hour drive from home.
We arrived in time for our reservation and were greeted warmly by the Valet. We walked into the restaurant and the decor is amazing with all of the caricatures and drawings on the wall.
We didn't have a long wait at all. We were blessed to get a wonderful server, Drew F. and Jasmine was assisting him.
Drew is the absolute best...he's kind, friendly, funny, engaging, knowledgeable and he took such great care of us from start to finish. Jasmine is a very sweet and kind person as well.
For starters, we were brought out the regular white bread rolls with butter. Jasmine made sure our bread was given to us hot and fresh. She explained the Cranberry bread was in the oven and should be out shortly. The Cranberry bread is absolutely delicious. Please try this if, you are here.
We wanted to try new things. We ordered the Neuske Bacon starter, Lobster Gnocchi side, Original hash browns side, Citrus IPA, Old Mecklenburg Copper, Sangria, Sweet Tea, A Four (4) lb Nova Scotian Lobster stuffed with crab oreganatta, Prime NY Strip 18oz and a Prime Steak Filet.
To my great surprise, they do have dessert. 🙂 We ordered the Carrot cake and Chocolate Cake to take with us.
Yes, it is expensive but, it is so worth every penny.
Drew explained to us what the Neuske Bacon was and he didn't tell us wrong. Hands down it's the best bacon I've ever eaten.
Our entrees came out along with our sides.
I kept thinking I'm going to have fun cracking these lobster claws. However, Jasmine saved the day and was amazing at cracking my huge lobster claws. 🙂 The food is absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend coming here. Please ask for server, Drew F., he will take the best care of you. He's normally there Wed-Sat dinner/evenings. Thank you Drew and Jasmine for such great service.
Excellent service. Great food. Awesome atmosphere.
Have been to Palm a few times in the past and had good experiences. This visit was not so. I took my wife for her birthday to have lobster and lamb chops. After being seated and presented with the paper menu that included them, we were informed that they were out of both the lobster and the lamb "WOW". Our server tried to resolve our disappointment by offering a complimentary bisque, but when it came out and my wife tasted it, she was surprised by the lack of flavor an richness that she is accustomed to. I had salmon which came out overcooked and she had the filet (medium rare), which came out closer to medium well and was juiceless. I will say that the staff continues to be top notch but that evening the food was below average
Always love THE PALM! Even Post Pandemic with smaller menu it’s outstanding. Food and service is great
Great service and wonderful food!
Was awesome and food was on point. Always is
Anniversary dinner was good but nothing special and not worth the price.
Excellent service from the time we walked in the door with the hostesses and waitresses along with the Manager giving us a better table for our 28th Wedding Anniversary! Food was delicious and the Ambiance was very nice.
Incredible ribeye . Amazing in every way
The chicken parm was burnt on the bottom and dry. The salmon was good, as was the three cheese au gratin potatoes. The fruit bread was delicious, and the waitress was very pleasant. The noise level was high, and the floors were slick. Overall, for the outrageous prices, the quality of the food and overall environment did not match the value. I must admit, I’m a little disappointed. First time going there and probably the last.
Palm Charlotte is always First Rate! Joey and his crew are always on point.
They have an awesome patio for outdoor dining when the weather is just right!
Great food. Service was excellent. it took a while but you were very busy...which is good. Wine it a bit over-priced.
One of the few high end steak restaurants open for lunch in Charlotte, NC! I like the Power Lunch combo which is an excellent value. I opt for the steak & cheesecake, which is very nicely done in a more casual setting than the competition. The Palm is part of the Landry’s Select Club—worth joining since its benefits can be used at many fine restaurants across America.
I went with a friend for my birthday. I’ve been a longtime fan of The Palm for years. I ordered the lobster roll knowing how famous you are for your lobsters. It was just lack luster. The arugula was a bit soggy and it was just flavorless. I will continue to dine at your establishment because I just think it was an off day.
As usual, great food and outstanding service. Clean and friendly
David is a great waiter.
Since Landry’s acquired The Palm the food quality is terrible yet the prices are the same. The Palm has been my favorite restaurant in Charlotte for over 20 years. I just can not go anymore. Very disappointed!
You will not have better service in Charlotte. The food is ALWAYS fantastic. You'll be very happy with your experience.
The service and drinks were great. The food was very underwhelming. Those were horrible quality "prime " steaks. Tough and flavorless. They were also overcooked twice. The chips in the half and half were burnt. The Caesar salad was flavorless. I felt bad for the server who seemed to be fielding food and kitchen complaints all night. The manager came over and offered free dessert which was kind of lame considering we spent $400 for 2 people. We hadn't been for awhile and we're thoroughly disappointed. Considering all the competition they have with many great steakhouses in Charlotte, they will need to kick it up a notch. Back to Del Frisco's for us.
Service and experience was great.
Loved the ambiance. Our server was amazing. The steak was perfectly prepared!!
Always first class from service to the food.
The Calamari was chewy and my drink was flat (mock Moscow mule). A drink was tipped over on our table and our waiter stood there and watched in shock before he gathered towels to assist with the clean up. I actually had to ask him if he could give us napkins as he stood there unsure of what to do. But on a lighter note the ambiance was great and the manager was very apologetic.
Although my friend and I ended up leaving and going to Ruth Chris .. (sorry)
My first time at the Palm. For the prices I was not impressed at all. The service was great but the food was literally just okay. Was really looking forward to it and came away disappointed.
Food was very good, had the prime ribeye, several appetizers and deserts with no complaints.
However, service was lacking - no bread service was provided to our table but we watched other tables receive theirs. Servers only came towards the end of the meal to ask if we needed anything. Also, delays in refilling our drinks.
Would think service should match expectations at this price point.
Well we showed up for our reservation and checked in. The hostess told us we would be seated shortly. So we waited awkwardly in the front by the main entrance for like 10-12 mins while other customers came in and were seated immediately. Finally a gentleman came and sat us at a table that was right behind the wall we were waiting at. So that was frustrating because we had been waiting and the hostess could have just take us to the table.because she was just standing there looking at us most of the time we waited. We tried to look past this because we were celebrating moms day. When we were seated we were not given menus. So when the waiter came back he was trying to take our order ASAP. He finally brought the menus and let us look them over for a few minutes. Once we order we did not see him again till the food was brought out. We just wanted more water and another glass of wine. After that we kinda knew what to expect from the service. So we just bite are tongue and tried to enjoy Mother’s Day.
Very slow service although the restaurant was not at capacity. Food was fine but not worth the $$
Mother’s Day! What a meal. Everyone got what they wanted, even the kids. Well worth it.
We went for Mother’s Day dinner. Service was EXTREMELY slow. The food was mediocre at best.
It took over one hour to receive our food. And most of the dishes were lukewarm at that point. They were also without much creative taste.
Went there for Mother’s Day and was not impressed. Very expensive and the food was mediocre at best. My wife’s short ribs looked like they were boiled and extremely tough. The food was bland and needed salt. Service was very slow. Will not be back.
Food is good but their customer service is what makes me go back every time! They have an absolutely amazing staff!
