   Always ask about the specials! There are usually some great options that are part of the menu just for one day. The Painted Burro is also extremely sensitive to gluten intolerances and allergies. Just speak up and they’ll make every accommodation they can!

   Couldn't get an 11:30am brunch reservation, so made a 1:30pm. Arrived at 11:30 and they were able to seat us immediately and move my reservation. The place was hopping however. Good volume of voice chatter, but me and my guest could still hear each other. The breakfast special was absolutely delicious. Also got a sangria that was quite tasty. Service was attentive but the server was a little impersonal. It was busy so he was talking to us to tell us the specials but was looking around. Whatever, its a busy kind of joint. Mixed crowd of all ages. Just a fun place to be. We drove from Boston, 21 minutes to get there and it was definitely worth it. Parking is free on Sundays, so that makes it super great too; to go for the Sunday brunch. Otherwise, Davis Square can get dicey for parking.

   Due to the popularity, the Painted Burro can get a bit loud. However, the service was awesome, the food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic! I did brunch here for the first time with a couple of friends and we will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend the crab cake benedict.

   I’ve been here many times before with my wife and they have never disappointed. The food and drinks were on amazing as always. The wait staff was on point, surprising me with how fast drinks and appetizers came out. Our waitress was top notch and never let us down despite the restaurant being very busy. Thanks Painted Burro for keeping a standard others should aspire to obtain.

   I've been going to Painted Burro for years. It's the perfect place to grab dinner on a week night when you don't feel like cooking because it isn't too crowded, and the food is excellent. Note, if you have been to Painted Burro in the past, they recently changed their chips. They taste a little more healthy, which I don't like as much. So, fair warning. Don't get as excited as you would have been about endless chips :).

   Wonderful food and great drinks. A little crowded and noisy, but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. My wife and I had a great time!

   If you want to over pay for medioicre tacos, this is your spot! Service was terrrible. The "chalupas" were comical. This should be on the desert menu. It was basically a fried applie w/ goat cheese on top of a corn pancake. This was a hard no. The shrimp and grits were really good thoough, but those would be the only thing I would order again.

   Excellent margaritas but the food was disappointing. The chips were blend, the carnitas dry, and the fish taco average.

   This is our second visit to this lovely restaurant. In the past, a number of restaurants have disappointed us in the second visit. They are still outstanding in the service and most foods. Do not miss their special ceviche (this time, it was tuna and mango ceviche). Also recommend Cholo corn cob and tacos.

    Great as usual. The nachos are fabulous and the Mezcarita is a fabulous drink
