We welcome you to The Paddock Restaurant. The Paddock is a treat for the whole family. Pop in for breakfast, served daily until mid-day. We serve coffee, cakes, lunch and afternoon teas.
On Sunday come for the famous Paddock roast using all local produce. We’re fully licensed and offer our Spanish Cruzcampo lager on draft as well as a selection of local bottled beer and ales. Why not have a glass of wine and choose from hand-picked wines on the menu or pick a bottle from the Food Hall to accompany your meal.
For those just wanting a cuppa, we have a large selection of speciality teas and freshly ground coffees to be enjoyed with a slice of our delicious cakes. Children are welcome and we offer a children’s menu or smaller portions of the main menu.
We have a large free car park and coach parking, just 2 minutes from Junction 27 off the M6, sitting in the beautiful village of Wrightington. Large parties can be catered for - book now.

We have been coming to The Paddock for about 3 years and have had an outstanding meal on every occasion. Yesterday one of our party had the broccoli and Stilton soup which was excellent. For mains two of our party had the lamb sharwarma with flatbread, one had the spicy minced pork with tacos and I had the Asian crispy chicken. All meals were outstanding and the staff were excellent as usual. We shall definitely be visiting again soon.

Bit of a wait but it was extremely busy & we had allowed for it. Well worth the wait - the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back again.

Really delicious Sea bass with potatoes and peas, very tasty and well presented. It does get really noisy in the restaurant but that is due to the high ceiling so nothing to be done.

Always excellent food here, though today I had to request extra mashed potatoes as I think i got the child's portion. The staffing level was inadequate for a busy Sunday and we waited 1 hour for our food. The manager was apologetic and we got two free deserts as an apology which was nice. I come here regularly because the food is so good which compensates for the lack of staff. Needless to say the staff on duty do their best.

The food looked fabulous so I was looking forward to our sandwiches. Unfortunately they were piled high as open sandwiches that you put together yourself. Making a very messy sandwich. I’ll not bother ordering one of those again.
