The ricotta tart was cold, I would appreciate warm.
the buddha bowl was definitely too cold ! and not so much tasty.
we appreciate the hummus and the soup.
Our both servers were excellent and spoke french with us, we liked them very much!
My wife and I had a great breakfast on our anniversary at the hotel. The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious. We will be returning soon
For a hotel of this caliber I would have thought they would have a classier restaurant. In stead it looked like an after thought. Originally I was hoping to go to the Empress Hotel but found they didn't have the nice restaurant it use to have either so we stayed at the Grand Pacific at half the price and went to their restaurant. The food and service was very nice but the ambiance was very dull.
Martin our waiter made us feel at home. We can't decide what dish to order and really took care our needs.
Ambience level was low as the restaurant was fairly empty with it being a Monday evening at 630pm. Food was decent and the service was good and reflexive.
well, not top drawer stuff here. Menu leaves a lot to be desired. It was supposed to be roast potatoes - not so..........

We reserved the Gazebo/Fire Pitt area for dinner on a beautiful summer night. The service was super and the food and drinks were amazing! They even had a children’s menu for our son. We will be back! Thank you.

Service for entire patio was provided by one server. The menu was so limited we decided to pass on food. We ordered a glass of wine and due to lack of staff it took nearly twenty minutes to be served. We were staying at the hotel so this entire experience was very disappointing.
Felt the food pricing was a little pricey, while it was a sunny evening it got cool on patio and we weren’t asked if we would like the heaters turned on.
A very good experience overall. Currently the menu and wine list is limited, but a good start to getting back to normal.
The ambiance is lovely at the restaurant but there is a limited choice selection of food. I would also prefer more gluten-free options. The waitress was very nice turning on the heat lamp and also Providing cosy warm blankets for my daughter and I

Such a great restaurant! My partner is normally weary of hotel restaurants, but we both found the service, food, and ambiance amazing!
The patio is very spacious and ambience is great, you don't even notice the traffic noise. We love the happy hour/early bird three-course menu and everyone's meal was excellent. Service was very friendly and attentive.
The staff were friendly and the courtyard was nice. I think this is a hidden Victoria gem.
We loved celebrating Mother’s Day here! Our server, Sue, made us feel so welcome, bringing us blankets and moving the heater to keep us warm.

Patio table with lovely view, a little chilly even with the table fire but they provided blankets which was nice. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable. Had the paper plane cocktail recommended by the server, and it was delicious. House red was also very nice. White bean and celery root dip for appetizer was very tasty, though surprised the description didn't mention that it contained cheese. We shared the one vegetarian pasta option and one vegetarian pizza, and both were delicious. Altogether a great evening. Thanks to the staff for continuing to work and make people happy through these tough times.
Excellent food and service. Efforts made by staff to ensure we were warm with blankets and heaters on. Beautiful of the inner harbour.

The early bird dinner special was great value. The food and service were both very good but the restaurant is dark and the decor is tired. Not the location for a special night out.
We just had wagyu burgers - meat was good, rest was nothing spectacular. Fries were run of the mill. Pretty basic, adequate. It was convenient as we didn't need to leave the hotel but there are way better places to eat in Victoria.

The fondue was excellent. It was a great experience and the service was very good.
This was our first time eating there and the food and service were fantastic! We had the fondue and if was delicious. The portions sizes left us feeling full and satisfied. Great value for the money!
We went for the 3 course dine around fondue for $40. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. We were served potatoes, pickles, bread, carrots, turnips, etc. and barely any meat or seafood. For $40, I would expect a better spread and more expensive items. The 2nd course fondue with the hot broth was tasteless but the cheese fondue was pretty good. The service was great and the restaurant was beautiful.
Went to have the fondue during dine out. The restaurant is typical of an older hotel - dark furnishings and bleary lighting. It is likely better without the COVID restrictions and spacing for tables. The food was ok. I quite enjoyed the cheese and the chocolate fondues, but the main course one with broth was lacking in flavour. The broth didn’t taste of anything, and while I liked the shrimp and beef components, the vegetables were odd. Try spearing s large chunk of bokchoi on a fondue skewer and cooking it and then try to eat it! And daikon - why? The other courses were very Swiss yet this main course was oddly Asian. Glad we went, but unlikely we’ll be back with so many great restaurants in Victoria.
The food was delicious! Some fun and different sounding options on the menu and all super yummy. The service was great. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We took advantage of the Dine Around and Stay in Town promotion and enjoyed the 3 course fondue offering. Cheese, broth and chocolate! All varied and delicious.

We ordered the 3 course fondue for two. This made for an entertaining supper event. Highly reccomend it. Protocols in place lead to a relaxed environment. Super locations with view extended to the North over the Victoria harbour scene.
